hi i got a question,,,,, kind of sensitive but i can’t really ask my friends,,,, what do i do when someone i know keeps talking about s*lf h*rm and s**cide to me even though they know i have trouble with that. it’s really triggering but idk what to do

Everyone is different but you need to express your triggers clearly, regardless of who it is. If they were really your friend they would appreciate that talking about those subjects to you is extremely triggering and it’s not something that you want to talk about. The problem with the internet is people will dump a bunch of heavy fucking shit on your lap and act like it’s no big deal because you have that barrier of the screens between you both, obviously when you’re feeling that way it can seem like there is no way out but not everyone can handle that kind of talk. Especially not if it’s regularly.

This probably sounds harsh but a random stranger on the internet shouldn’t be used as a crutch for your negative thoughts or feelings, especially when they’re more than likely not qualified to genuinely help you.

UNLOCKING HARRY POTTER & FINDING THE KEY by Sarini (available on Wattpad by 19jyBrit)

This fanfic is old and at least once it was considered a fandom classic. Wattpad didn’t have the summary or description but I found one elsewhere and I’m going to copy-paste it down below:

Finding the Key – Severus Snape is no longer a spy and has officially acknowledged Harry Potter as his son. Just when it looks like things are getting better for Harry…..

Review and spoilers: This story was written a long time ago and it got deleted after the author apparently left the fandom. It has been reposted before by others but got deleted again. I was able to find it on Wattpad. I’m not entirely sure if the original text is all intact or has something been lost over the years. I’m saying this because in some chapters the story jumped a bit. It wasn’t distracting but it just got me thinking that maybe something got left out. 

Anyway, this story is Severitus with Harry/Charlie pairing. Severus is Harry’s parent but so were Lily and James. This story had lot of those elements which I love and it kind of reminded me of Year Like None Other. I liked how everything was explained about Severus being one of Harry’s fathers, why he didn’t know and how he starts remembering. Remus’ character was good too. I wish there was more Draco because his character was wonderful. 

Someone might find Harry/Charlie pairing strange but I encourage everyone to give it a try! :D I’m fond of this pairing and I was over the moon when I found severitus with this pairing. Bless you Sarini. 

Harry is more powerful in this story but he isn’t overpowered. And it kind of makes sense if you have three parents :’) + other talents but those you’ll find out if you read this story. ^^ There are dragons! I liked how they were incorporated in the story. 

This is a good story for those who like longer fics, good story telling, magic, developed characters, dialogue with slytherin-ess and humor, sweet love and friendship without teenage temper tantrums.

The 2nd story, Finding the Key, has a slow developing plot but don’t give up! It gets you more introduced with the characters, Harry’s growing powers (in several intriguing ways), Harry/Severus duel (loved that!), final battle (excellent alternative ending), epilogue (with weddings and kids) and some shocking news.

Look, I get it. Y’all don’t like me making fun of my depressive, suicidal posts. But this was once, and me and all my friends had a good laugh. There are too many people I’d have to block the post from if I filtered and I don’t post that shit often, if ever. I’m having a hard time, I joke to cope. Don’t like it, you can hide it on your end. I’m tired I’m hiding my posts on my Facebook from a side of the family that makes me suppress who I really am. If more than just you? Tell me they want it gone? Then lll do it. But my guy, you haven’t been there most my life. I ain’t policing myself for you.
