i don't have any pics rn but I want to bring attention to my second favorite bug but my fav local bug the handsome trig I feel like I am the only one who loves my guys so I need more ppl to think Abt them!!! I love them sm!!!

I had to look these guys up because I'd never heard of them, and I can absolutely agree they live up to their name!

I agree with the red-headed bush cricket's (Phyllopalpus pulchellus) other common name, the handsome trig

unlike his nearby relatives who are typically impossible to track down between the jumping, cryptic appearance, and general affinity for crevices, this wood cricket (Nemobius sylvestris) was out in the open, exploring the soil exposed by a recently fallen tree much like an old man that has to snoop around every local car crash

These guys are quite zippy, not sure how I got this one to stay still long enough to be in focus :-).
