(On one hand, the tone is pretty consistent throughout the series, so if ur not interested within 2-3 eps, it might be good to drop. On the other hand, if you do you miss out on Laila’s character development and how great May is)

(It gets a lot better the second season. On the other hand, there’s tons of gross stuff like Mineta’s bullshit. so if you find you can’t suffer through that u need to drop it cuz that’s not going away unfortunately)
fav characters: Ochako, Deku, Todoroki, Tsuyu, Momoleast fav characters:is there any answer but Minetafav relationship: Todoroki and Deku rnfav moment: Just the whole thing with Todoroki- the confrontation with Deku, the aftermath and the fight with Bakugou, when he finally went to see his mom- SERIOUS FEELS.headcanons/theories: hmmmm gotta thinkunpopular opinion: I like All Might well enough but I’m not like as…in love with him as everyone else seems to be? That may change, who knows i don’t know his backstory yet.
also I’ve seen it described several times as one of the best shonen out there when it comes to female characters (though sometimes narrowed to fighting shonen) and like…if we’re talking shonen jump maybe it’s high ranked but shonen in general? Like… FMA, guys. It has it’s weaknesses on that front but it also doesn’t have….Mineta and doesn’t constantly objectify teenage girls or reduce its older female characters to sex jokes and catty stereotypes. And there are shonen with really solid female leads and supporting cast, where the women are consistently the most powerful, like Slayers. There are…a lot of better things, if you look hard enough.
how’d you find it: Was subscribed to funimation when the first season came out, saw that it was a superhero show with nice looking animation, checked it out.
random thoughts: a good show, has it’s problems, but enough strengths i can put up with them. Most of the characters are my children and i want them to do well. looking forward to next season.
