Friday Fast Tip: Trippin' Out!

Hey there and happy first Friday of June!

This week's Friday Fast Tip is all about trip planning.  I've compiled a few websites (that also have apps for your phone) that make trip planning a little easier, or at least give you a place to start.  Here we go...

1. Reserve America: http://www.reserveamerica.com/

If you plan on visiting a campground, day use park, or need any outdoor recreation reservations check with Reserve America first.  Most times you can roll up to a campground and ask if they have space, but why waste your time and cause disappointment if it's booked.  Plan ahead and check out their site first for all the details on your favorite outdoor destination.

This website makes it super easy to find stuff to do before you arrive.  You can map out the days if you know them and create an itinerary in minutes.  Finding accommodations couldn't be easier as well.  When you're done you can save it, share it to your smartphone, and with others.  A simple way to do a sometimes daunting task.

3.  Field Trip: http://www.fieldtripper.com/

Ok, so you know where you're going, where you're staying, and how long you'll be there.  However, we all know what happens once you unpack and put all your clothes away (yeah, right!)?  That lull that sets in and suddenly everyone has amnesia.  What were we supposed to do?  When were we supposed to leave?  What time is dinner?  Forget all that!  With the Field Trip app installed you can walk out the hotel room door and just wander.  The app dings when a historic site or other interesting place is nearby.  You can discover some cool stuff!

4. Grub Hub: https://www.grubhub.com/

After a long day of sightseeing sometimes you do not want to go to a restaurant.  You want the restaurant to come to you AND you don't want just pizza! Grub Hub can help.  Simply put in where you are and it will give you a list of all the places near you that deliver or allow for food pickup.  You can even order through the app.  Good stuff!

Which destinations all around the world are the most attractive? Our Tripomatic.com team researched 100.000 trip itineraries created during summer 2013 to find out which places attracted the majority of tourists in the 30 most visited destinations worldwide. In London more than a half of travelers planned to see top 10 attractions. Which sights in London are the most popular?

Tripomatic lauched new update of its iPhone app. Not only the update adds easier log in and sign up it also includes many improvements requested by Tripomatic travelers.

Furthermore, Tripomatic presented new region guides - Northern Europe, USA & Canada, Central and Southern America and Southeast Asia were added and can be found in Apple AppStore.
