I have always associated music with a phase in my life, or a trip I may have taken when that song was the only thing which played on repeat. Today my playlist was on shuffle when ‘Assassin’ by Au/Ra started playing- a song I had a whole trip-load of memories attached to. I instantly thought of my trip to Italy, the last trip I had taken before this pandemic, back in September 2019. It was a bittersweet moment, remembering the bright, lazy sun, the multiple gelato shops we stopped at and the cobble stone streets engraved with our memories.
