Why is this just tr!Pangi? Always looking for a high, a purpose, something to sink his teeth unto. Would do anything for it even though it would have terrible consequences on him.
The DOT killed the Advisory Committee on Automation in Transportation without telling its members, according to 'The Verge.'
The Department of Transportation's Advisory Committee on Automation in Transportation (ACAT) hasn't been active since it was formed in 2017. And it won't be active anytime in the future, because according to The Verge, the administration has quietly killed it without even telling its members. Under President Obama, the DOT enlisted several big-name players from the transportation industry to become part of the group. The list includes Captain "Sully" Sullenberger, Apple VP Lisa Jackson, WaymoCEO John Krafcik and Lyft co-founder John Zimmer.
However, the committee was formed at the end of Obama's term and met only once in 2017 before President Trump's inauguration. Most of the members The Verge talked to said they weren't informed of the group's dissolution. One of the members, Duke University's autonomy expert Missy Cummings, told the publication that the group's shutdown was "egregious, because [the] board does not have a political leaning. If anything, the board has been pro industry."
Dennis Rodman is really on the news wearing a MAGA hat crying over a dictator and a fascist white supremacist. This timeline is wild.
Seven protesters from the environmental group Greenpeace climbed a 270-foot crane Wednesday at a construction site in downtown Washington and unfurled a "Resist" banner visible from the White House to demonstrate opposition to President Trump.
“The sun has risen this morning on a new America, but it isn’t Donald Trump’s,” Robinson said. "I fear not only the policies of the incoming administration, but also the people emboldened by this election to commit acts of violence and hate. Now is the time to resist."
