Been slacking on my job recently, I blame it on the future 3 month content hiatus from Tertel. Luckily, itll be a time where I'm most powerful (and the weather will be all rainy and cool and breezy) so I won't go too crazy. Anyways... Tertel will be back today or tomorrow! He got home early! So here's the photos from his break that he posted on Insta!

Eventually we're just gonna get EVERY angle of this beach. I wonder has anyone actually ever filmed on tbe beaches of Cornwall before? It's very picturesque. And the weather doesn't seem to bad? At least whenever he goes.

I REALLY like the composition of the last photo. I know its a simple rule of thirds thing in sectioning, but the transition in color between the different subjects is soooo.... maybe I'm just a sucker for plants in pics.

Never realized how hilly and rocky this area was. I mean I kinda guessed, but it looked much different in my head when I imagined. More steep cliffs rather than bouldery hills.

Also the tide pools, assuming those are tide pools, lowkey wish I could have a gander. I've never seen a proper tide pool before that's teeming with life beside the occasional anenome in some rocky hole. Maybe one day he'll catch a starfish on camera! Do they go near Cornwall even 😭

Flight SMP Player Concept: Tertel

Also known as... The Sky Duelist

Everything about his powers is related to his two main activities in Minecraft: Bedwars and Hardcore Minecraft. Was inspired after being told that players on the Flight SMP could get up to 8 powers (allegedly) and thought what would my other streamer get if he was invited on?

Dragon Type: A Dragon Turtle Greenish-Blue. In its adult form, it has a tough shell on its back instead of wings. In turn, it has developed its forearms into wing-like flippers (similar to wyverns), which allow it to seamlessly swim in the sea and glide over the water's surface.

Magic Archetype- Duelling Magic. Tertel's magic has warped around his constant battles in the sky. If he falls, magic will cushion him, reducing damage taken (Feather Falling II). Below are the spells/magic he could awaken. I enjoyed putting in some references.

Boomburst: Can cast an explosive, yet harmless projectile that destroys blocks but deals minimal damage. Higher knockback than a standard windcharge.

Gambler's Streak: Toggle to a specific set of skills it affects: Civil or Combat. A rising "combo" multiplier the longer he does a specific action (mining, hitting an entity, etc.), boosting its respective output. Delaying or doing another action cancels the bonus.

Skywalker: Upon activation, builds temporary blocks beneath his feet. Blocks last for 30 secs before vanishing.

Dueling Ground: Summons a ring of swords surrounding Tertel in an X-block radius that lasts 30 secs. Nothing can leave/enter the ring, and anything trying to leave/enter gets damaged (based on the equipped weapon at activation).

Adrenaline Rush: Passive, when triggered, uses magic power. Gets Haste III and Speed II when at a quarter health. Haste II and Speed I at half health.

Second Wind: Restores HP to max immediately at the cost of half the hunger bar.

Blink Strike: Teleports up to ~10 blocks toward an entity within your line of sight and damages them (based on the equipped item) upon landing.

Arrowstorm: With a bow in hand, fire an arrow. Wherever it lands, it showers the area in a deluge of arrows.

Dragon Fusion Power This is with the idea that, eventually, dragons and their riders can fuse:

Dragon Turtle Armour: Gains Netherite defense, Resistance IV, Health Boost V, Regeneration III, Thorns II, and Slowness VII. There's a price to pay for the ultimate defense.

I have no actual hope of Tertel being invited on the SMP, bro touches grass too much, and I feel like such a roleplay-heavy server would burn out his brain. I think he'd get along with the other troublemakers in the academy in character and would be one of those willful spirits that would drag people into trouble. Alas, in another universe...

Research: Understanding MCYT Boundaries

During my time in mcyt fandom, I've watched as the fandom's perception of creator boundaries has grown and shifted into a cornerstone of our fandom, and yet we don't actually have any good data on how the fandom as a whole perceives them outside of discourse posts.

The goal of this unofficial study NOT to make a value judgement on whether creator boundaries should be respected - it is to understand how the fandom currently perceives and interacts with them.* Is respecting creator boundaries important to you? Has your favorite creator made a boundary list or spoken about it on stream? Do you find some boundaries acceptable and others not? Have you ever been the target of hate for engaging with boundary-breaking content? Whether you think boundaries should always be respected or you think they're being used as tools of censorship, I want to hear from you. What are boundaries, and why do they matter so much to us?

This survey is a mix of multiple choice and optional long-response questions. It should take about 15 minutes if you’re only doing the required questions, and much longer if you choose to answer the optional questions.**

* Why I think this data is important to collect: The idea for this survey came to me almost a year ago, and I started developing it around February of this year. I’ve spoken with dozens of people about this topic with diverse opinions, read and catalogued hundreds of tumblr posts, rewatched streams and videos by creators and fans, and watched as opinions have shifted across fandoms in real time. I feel extremely confident in saying that every person on every side cares deeply about respecting others and creating safe, welcoming communities in all mcyt spaces. Where they differ is on how to show that respect, which kinds of expectations they think are reasonable in different spaces, and beliefs on how those in power should be using their influence. I don’t expect this survey’s results to fundamentally change anything - this debate has been going on longer than mcyt has existed. But I think it’s still important to analyze the actual arguments people are making and how they affect our communities, instead of focusing on expected behavior from others based on our own values, so we can see the varying expressions of humanity in each other and work towards a better future for our fandom. I don’t think we’re as different as the discourse may have us believe.

I think Tertel moving to NL isn't very viable because of the god awful immigration system we have and also the fact that Pangi very likely has a "One mans business" which means he isn't allowed to have employees. If Tertel does want to move to NL doing it via student immigration would be hus best bet bc the netherlands lovess their international students

I thought Pangi Inc. fully employed Tertel? I know the company itself is a real, but I don't know to what extent.

And is immigration to the NL that bad? Was hoping it wasn't too bad personally. I don't think Tertel would be willing to go back to being a student... well actually, who knows. We could have an arc where both of them (Pangi and Tertel) become classmates or something in university haha
