OC Fact: Markus is over 2000 years old and finds the fact that pop culture-immortals (no matter if true immortals like him or vampires...) happen to end up in Important Historical Events or meet Important People/Artists. Or that they are fluent in a dozen languages that are dead since the 1250s. Meanwhile, he needs dictionaries when he wants to read Vergil, sponsored an unknown sculptor from Prague and stayed sane by collecting recipes.

I love this concept. I'm such a history nerd and because Markus has skipped the important events he probably knows about some smaller things that have been lost to history.

My character Troë has had a vety bad hunting accident in his youth which cost him his eyesight. Luckily he has the money and thus got his hands on a rare magical artefact that allows him to detect movement.

He recently underwent a redesign. At first I wanted him to try to blend in with other folks. But he's a tall, bearded guy, wearing a kilt (family tradition) and a blindfold. So now I let him embrace his odd looks. He now wears his magic blindfold like a biker head wrap that has been pulled down over his eyes and tops it with a fancy hat. I might add a nice cape to his standard outfit as well. The point is that people will be distracted by his looks and not necessarily notice that he owns a magical artefact. (magic has been banned and the king wants all remaining artefacts to be confiscated)

1. Alittle-known talent of your OC?He is a great story teller but you have to ask him kindly and very specificallyfor a story to get him started.However his stories often bewilder his listenersat first because due tot he fact he is blind he describes things in a ratherunusual way.

5. YourOC’s worst habit?He makes others feel it when he’s in a bad mood. He usually feels badafterwards but he can’t stop it.

6. Doesyour OC prefer tennis shoes/sneakers or flip flops?He’s living in a high-fantasy world. But I’d probably prefer sneakers becausehe can’t lose them mid-walk and they offer better protection for his feed andankles.

9. Whatchore does your OC hate the most?Cleaning. He likes his stuff tob e clean but the process of cleaning isunpleasent.

10.Would your OC prefer to live in the city, the suburbs, or the country?Definately in the country side. He grew up in a mansion next to a small townand he’s also a passionate hunter.

12.Would your OC play by the rules in a fight or take cheap shots?He would always play by the rules. That’s a matter of honour.

14.Happy birthday! What kind of present would your OC want?No presents, no party. Only a night oit with a friend who has an eye on himwhen he passes out drunk right before dawn.

18.Something that makes your OC laugh without fail?It’s a bitter laughter but inept tries to cheer him up make him laugh. Justbecause he cannot understand how someone can actually thing something thatstupid could make things better for him. 

 22. Doesyour OC get frustrated when people forget to close the door behind themselves?Absolutely. It drives him crazy.

28. Isyour OC a conspiracy theorist?No. He’s also not very superstious or credulous.

30.What is your OC’s favorite drink?Honey beer.

39. Astrange talent of your OC?He is good with the sling shot. It’s not that strange anymore when you knowthat he owns a magical blindfold allowing him to detect movement but still. Ablind man with a sling shot.

44. Canyour OC sleep if there’s any kind of light?Of course. But he especially likest o have a fire burning in the fire place orat least a camp fire if he hast o sleep outside.

48.Would society call your OC a good guy or a bad guy? What would they say theyare?Society would call him a bad guy (and Tumblr would claim he’s a problematicfave.) And he would agree with society even though deep down he knows that he’snot that bad. Not at all.

2. Whattrait does your OC like best about themself? (Eyes, guitar skills, random birdfacts, etc)His good looks in combination with his brilliant mind. That’s what he thinks. He’snot dumb but he’s not as much of an mastermind as he thinks.

3. Howmany pillows does your OC sleep with?He has a fany four-pster bed and is basically the princess from The Princessand the Pea. Does this answer the question?

4. Isyour OC good at keeping secrets?Not really. Only i fit benefits him.

9. Whatchore does your OC hate the most?He’s spoiled brat. He even hates getting dresses. However he seems to enjoyundressing… wait… what? Whatever.

17. Isthere a real person that looks like your OC?Nope. Or probably there is a person but I don’t know about them yet.

33. Asong that reminds you of your OC?I am more of a visual person. Nurix reminds me of gothic church windows.

36.Your OC’s favorite fashion era? (20’s, 70’s, etc)The fucking 18th century. But i fit has to be a fashion era from the lastcentury it would be the 70s/80s. Adam Ant style.

46. Aword that your OC can’t stand?Ungratefulness. Because you must be obviously wrong if you accuse him of it. It’sstrange that especially people he loved did this.

48.Would society call your OC a good guy or a bad guy? What would they say theyare?Society agrees that he is a bad guy and he agrees. He knows that his morals area bid odd but that doesn’t matter. His high statues keeps him save.

Aww. :3 Thank you. I love my babies, too. And you always remind me to take better care of them. Sometimes I neglect them for too long. And “ dubious and slightly despicable” is the best kind of OC. they’re always fun. But after all Troë is good guy. Unlike Gabriel and Nurix.

Thank you for your ask. Let’s answer this for two of my OCs… Troë and Gabriel.

8: What is your OC’s fighting style, if any? Are they a rogue, a warrior, a mage?

Troë was once a really good hunter. However he lost both eyes to the venomous claws of a wild animal. Now he’s technically blind but a magic blindfold allows him to detect movement. Thus he uses a small sling as a weapon.

Gabriel is a divine being. Therefore he might use illusions to win a fight. As a crusader he’s also good al wielding a sword. :D

16: What is your OC’s clothing style? Do they have a specific colour palette that they tend to dress in?

Troë wears a kilt in his family’s colours (mostly dark green and golden) and a military jacket with golden lining. He’d feel naked without his family’s colours. 

Gabriel is one of the few OCs that do have a very obvious colour palette. His robes are white, the details red and golden. And no matter what exactly he wears there’s always a cross somewhere.
