Nobody pays enough attention to this game and it KILLS ME, but I gotta know: What bug is The Kid from Bastion?

The Kid is a Bronze Shieldbug nymph (final instar) (Troilus luridus)!

Note: "Instars" are the stages of molting before an arthropod reaches 'adulthood'/sexual maturity. This insect wasn't picked specifically for that though, I just really wanted to assign him a shieldbug ehe

Troilus luridus

...a large species of stink bug (Pentatomidae) which is native to parts of Europe, including the British Isles. Unlike many stink bugs which are herbivorous, Troilus luridus is predatory and will prey upon other insects, using its proboscis to dispatch them.
