She was startled by the sudden appearance of the odd looking Jirachi, wondering who they were before shaking from the trance she had put herself in.

“It is true. My spirit is separate from my body.. it actually is not too far from here,” she turns her head to face two rocks set atop a small island in the lake behind her.

“There is where my body rests. Both my brother and I were supposed to sleep until our wounds healed and we were needed once more... Unless there is an unknown danger in our lands, I know not as to why Beowulf woke so suddenly...” she pondered aloud until her ears perked up from the sound of footsteps.

She turned and saw a young Oshawott with a shawl over their head approach.

“Why are so many Pokemon interested in my opinion on humans?” she wondered aloud as she looked away from the creature for a moment. Her frustrations quickly faded as she remembered how scared the Oshawott appeared. 

“My experience with humans is not the most favorable. Many thought of myself and my brother as tools, weapons even. Let my history with them be a warning for you, young one. Approach humans with caution and do not blindly accept their kindness. For as soon as something goes wrong, you will be fighting their battle for them.”

OH HELL YEAH!! I have so much to say about Nox!!

I remember Nox from when I was first around here on askmamalily! Their characters are lovely, and I absolutely adore the story they’re telling! Even though they’re mostly a writing based blog, I adore reading through their posts because their writing is just THAT phenomenal. Cipher is such a cute little dude, but also is more than meets the eye, and that’s something I love in a character. Elaina was also one of my other faves, and both of them are so fun to draw! I haven’t drawn any of your characters in such a long time and I REALLY need to do that again... weeeehhh!! But really, Nox, I absolutely adore you. You’re an absolute sweetheart and you have no idea how overjoyed I was to see you still in the community when I came back with this blog! Keep on chuggin’, you’re doing amazing!
