Bulletin Board Art Contest + Changes to TrollCrossing?!

Hello Can Town-ites! Can Town-ians...? Can Town Citizens! I'm your currently lone-TrollCrossing-Admin, Caelan, and I'm going to be bringing you some news! Brace yourselves, it's a long message!

As the title says, there shall be an Art Contest (okay not so much a contest as a competition) concerning things for the Bulletin Board Blog. However, I would like to cover a couple of things before we get onto this! First of all, let me explain some changes that will be happening to TrollCrossing (don't worry, they're aren't big and scary!) as well as what the Bulletin Board Blog will be used for!

First of all, the changes (dun, Dun, DUN! Okay, not really.)! The TrollCrossing AU will not be experiencing any changes that concern your RP as of right now. If anything like that does seem to come across, I will make a post to warn you about it! Mainly the changes will consist of Blog Changes. This will mean the following:

Blog Pages will be moved around, as well as some being removed and moved to the Bulletin Board location.

Blog Theme may change.

Navigation may change.

Secondly, what will be on the two different Blogs? What will be the differences? Well, here's a chart to show you!

As you can see, not much will change! Only thing changing is the face that we will have an Out Of Character Home Blog (one to direct New Comers to) and an In Character Blog! Shall I move onto the...

Okay, well, again. It's more of an Art Competition than an Art Contest. There won't be any prizes (I'm sorry) for if your art is selected for the new blog other than just that! This was an idea for something to include the other Citizens, as well as others outside of the AU! It's... Also a way to get me out of doing some work. Not going to lie.

So, there's going to be a few categories that you can participate in. Oh, and don't worry! You can enter all of the categories as many times as you want!

First of all, Judging will go like this:

TrollCrossing Admin Caelan will pick three of her favorites from each category.

You will then get to vote on your favorite in each category!

If yours gets into the top three of any category, you can not choose yours.

How to vote will be explained later during the voting period.

Whichever gets the most vote in each category will be used on the Bulletin Board blog.

Now, we have the Judging explained... but what is needed to be done? Here is a list of the categories that can be entered:

Confirmed Alphas

With the most recent update, we have confirmed the names of four of the Alpha Trolls. You can find out who these are by going to the Alpha Trolls page!

If you have confirmed, with Solid Evidence (like how Mituna was confirmed through Latula's Red Quadrant) then you can message us with who they are and how you figured this out.

I don't know. The idea that Karkat tries to create friends sort of intrigues me. Also, look. You get a look at the inside of his house. Sort of. Why Sollux? Well, back when I used to use this account as just a plain old Karkat blog, This Sollux was basically his only friend.

Since I have finished making the logo, it might be best to make a post that can go around and be reblogged to grab the attention of other people.

First of all, what is TrollCrossing? TrollCrossing is an Animal Crossing based Roleplay AU. Trolls move into Can Town, located on Not-Alternia, and are given a house to live in. However, just like in the games, you have to pay the house off. To get you started, you get a Part-Time job at The Crabshack. Mainly to learn the ropes and meet a couple of other Trolls. After finishing Errands, you are free to earn money however you want and interact with whoever you want.

That's where the Roleplay happens, so no asking How's Roleplaying Involved? The roleplaying comes from your interaction with other Citzens of Can Town. Again, like the Social Community Simulation game, there is no plot except for what you make it out to be. Your plot depends on who you interact with and what Drama ends up being stirred up.

Before asking who are the characters? the answer is this:

AND Fantrolls

Yeah, we aren't just limited to the Canon. This AU includes Fantrolls! If any of the Canon Trolls you want are taken, or if all of the Canon Trolls are taken, you are still welcomed to create a Fantroll to join this AU.

Now, how about a couple of things about this AU (click on links to read more):

This AU does not take place on Alternia.

The town is just named Can Town. There aren't any Can-Houses. Who knows why the town was named that.

Quirks can still apply, but you aren't limited to always using them while the character is speaking since they're not technically typing.

Quadrants still apply. These are trolls, after all.

There are Only Trolls in Can Town. No other characters.

This AU also has a Map.

Even has a Getting Started guide to help you after becoming a Citizen.
