TrollCrossing is an Animal Crossing based AU where trolls of all kinds end up in the Animal Crossing world and in Can Town. They aren't entirely sure how they ended up here, but they might as well make the best of the situation!

As For Joining before Re-opening!

I know we have been very inactive recently, and we do plan on reopening sometime in the future. However, we would like to try and get a couple of members before hand! A huge change in citizen applications that will be made is the acceptance of HUMAN CHARACTERS. That`s right, you may now play as a human character in Can Town!

If you wish to become a member before opening, please contact us through an ask and we will do what we can! (Also, looking for Admin Members!)

As a Main Street is going to be added to Can Town, we have slots available for people to open shop! You can really open up any shop you would like, but of course the defaults will be what is available in New Leaf!

In Light of New Leaf

Quite a few changes are in fact going to be made. So far, a definite change will be the addition to a City, which will include Human Characters (Beta Kids, Alpha Kids, Guardians, and even Fankids)!

Any other changes will be stated after the moderator has gotten a chance to play New Leaf!!

After many Hiatuses and changes, TrollCrossingStuck has RE-OPENED! For those of you who have been a part of this from the very beginning, you know what it’s all about. However, there have been a few changes! First, let’s bring New Readers up to speed.

First of all, what is TrollCrossing? TrollCrossing is an Animal Crossing based Roleplay AU. Trolls move into Can Town, located on Not-Alternia, and are given a house to live in. However, just like in the games, you have to pay the house off. To get you started, you get a Part-Time job at The Crabshack. Mainly to learn the ropes and meet a couple of other Trolls. After finishing Errands, you are free to earn money however you want and interact with whoever you want.

That’s where the Roleplay happens, so no asking How’s Roleplaying Involved? The roleplaying comes from your interaction with other Citzens of Can Town. Again, like the Social Community Simulation game, there is no plot except for what you make it out to be. Your plot depends on who you interact with and what Drama ends up being stirred up.

Before asking who are the characters? the answer is this:

Alternian Trolls

Beforus Trolls

Fantrolls

AND Adult Trolls (Including Canon Ancestors and Fan Ancestors)

Yeah, we aren’t just limited to the Canon. This AU includes Fantrolls! If any of the Canon Trolls you want are taken, or if all of the Canon Trolls are taken, you are still welcomed to create a Fantroll to join this AU.

Now, how about a couple of things about this AU (click on links to read more):

This AU does not take place on Alternia.

The town is just named Can Town. There aren’t any Can-Houses. Who knows why the town was named that.

Quirks can still apply, but you aren’t limited to always using them while the character is speaking since they’re not technically typing.

Quadrants still apply. These are trolls, after all.

There are Only Trolls in Can Town. No other characters.

This AU also has a Map.

Even has a Getting Started guide to help you after becoming a Citizen.

As of today (being the Jan 7th, 2013) 46/48 Canon Slots are open. So, if you are interested in any way, or just want to follow the blog to see the Art, News, and other shenanigans of the roleplay community you can Head to the Official Blog.

NEW YEARS OPENING!

Hello, CanTown Citizens and Visitors!

This is Caelan Hill (KARKAT), TrollCrossing Admin, speaking. It's been a while since TrollCrossing went on a Hiatus to get things sorted out but we are going to be back on track very, very soon! In fact, we are going to be on track tomorrow! That's right, on January 1st, 2013 we will be accepting TrollCrossing submissions again! That and we will continue posting Art and other shenanigans!

There aren't very many changes to TrollCrossing that are Note-able, but the two main ones are:

We have another Admin! TrollCrossing!Nepeta will be helping me in monitoring TrollCrossing shenanigans!

The main blog has a new, easier (I hope!) to navigate theme! (A new theme for the Bulletin Board blog will be coming around later on.)

Troll Crossing will be on Hiatus

Even though it already seems that a Hiatus has started for TrollCrossing, one shall be officially called for.

This Hiatus will mainly to get some things together to re-open. This includes more NPC art, more NPC fleshing, and maybe even some ADMIN HIRING. Depends. Either way, some help will be needed. If you are interested in helping out at all, follow and message the current admin, faggertofhope.
