ARRRGH!!! was 75 years old when she fought Gunmar the first time in 1969 (which means she was born in 1894). The book takes place in the year 2014, which means ARRRGH!!! was about 120 when she fought Gunmar the second time and died. Trolls have an average life span of 1000 years, which means ARRRGH!!! was barely an adult when she died. The years might be slightly different but the case is probably the same with the ARRRGH!!! from the TV series. Just let that little sad fact sink in for a moment.
