Trollhunters Corrupted Amulet Au.
This is just a lil sample.
Apologies for any mistakes.

Night fell with a unfamiliar calmness and the air in the sewers felt thick as if Jim had climbed a mountain. The dark haired boy gave a shaky breath as sweat formed on his temple and a strange feeling of discomfort seeped into his body.
The Amulet was the only light he had as he walked down the dark canal. The sounds of water droplets falling only added to the unease building up at the pit of his stomach and he could feel how his sword felt heavier, body growing more exhausted. The last few nights were a mess; not only did he have his 'Trollhuntering duties' to attend to, he had been unable to sleep because every night he had an unsettling nightmare and it's been the same one since day one.
Jim could still see those dark, cruel eyes staring down at him, a rumbling voice that sound like rocks grinding together spoke with vicious content "Trollhunter." Is what it said before it would lunge and he would wake up in a cold sweat.
"Focus, Jim. Nows not the time to get distracted!" Jim scolds himself, the Amulet lighting up at his distress and there in the dark golden-like eyes stared. It didn't blink, it just stared and Jim could only stare back and take in a breath and slowly exhaled
"It's just your imagination. You're just tired. Nothings really there."
"I smell your fear, I can hear your blood pumping from your heart." It stalked forward, the Amulet lit up part of its face exposing a torn side that had dark, violet, crystals growing from and an eye practically fused with the material.
"You're just imaging things Jim. It's NOT real."
"I'm as real as what lurks in the dark, Trollhunter."
Everything suddenly goes quiet and it slowly retreats back into the dark never breaking eye contact and for a few seconds Jim could feel some relief leave his body until he was sent flying and his back made contact to the wall; if not for his armor he would more than likely be dead right now. Jim lifts his head quickly and stands only to collapse onto one knee and the sound of skittering on the wall behind caught his attention and he looks back.
The Amulet brightening and face-to-face with him was the beast.
This was no imagination. This was real.
It lowered its head, neck extending and it spoke in that rumbling, rock grinding voice "Trollhunter. Let's see how fast you can run!"
