I don't want shigaraki to be redeemed. He's an amazing villain and getting better each arc. I want him to stay the villain. That's what makes him so great.
There’s no redemption for him as in he’s so broken after that there’s no turning back… how do you come back, mentally or emotionally, from slaughtering your family in the most bloody, brutal way possible at the tender age of 5 yrs old? Shigaraki is broken beyond repair. And not just killing them. Getting off on the murder. Best we can hope for is lifetime imprisonment or a moment of humanity that gets him killed while doing something heroic (ie: Darth Vader getting fried throwing the Emperor
No redemption for any of the villains. Gotta say the only two I had hope for were Twice and Spinner but even they’ve crossed a line by simply supporting the psychotic murderers like Tomura and Toga. Those two are just irredeemable monsters who need to die.
You didn’t really succeed at pretending not to be the same person because like. Try waiting a few moments instead of sending these all within ten minutes lol.
I feel like you’re probably a troll (maybe even the same one as the Gabi troll a few days ago, so you’re being blocked) but on the off chance that you are serious + because the fandom has been discussing this all day:
Firstly, it’s fine to want him to stay a villain. I don’t care.
Secondly, I don’t like callingl someone broken beyond repair as that is never ever true (and I feel like you know this). Not to mention that Hori has set up a redemption arc but no matter how obvious one seems there is always gonna be a fandom screaming that they won’t receive it. I’ve written lots of metas on this, as has @linkspooky but I’m genuinely not certain you’re interested so I won’t really rehash the evidence here beyond the panels t the end of this post.
You’re also misunderstanding the genre, as I’ve said numerous times about Dabi when people say the same thing. BNHA is a hopeful, optimistic superhero story that has the main theme (ish) of the younger generation doing better than the one that came before them. A sacrificial death might very well happen and I’m not opposed to it, but just “put the mad dog down” doesn’t fit in this kind of story.
And anyways, you don’t think he’ll be saved? Take it up with All Might himself.
