Neat. :) For the Steam version of TRON RUN/r, if you look in the Steam folder the game is in another folder named “Tron Escape” too. (Which is what the game was originally going to be called, just in case anyone is wondering why we’re amused about this.)

If the full version of TRON RUN/r has become a “timed exclusive” for the PS4, I swear to god . . . otherwise, what is the reason for the holdup of the Steam and Xbox One versions?
EDIT: Sanzaru/Disney are still actively updating the Steam version’s game files right now. So maybe there’s still some hope for the PC version releasing today. Maybe.

These are model files already there, in the Early Access version of TRON RUN/r. Unfortunately, the program I’m using to view the models only has preliminary support for Unreal Engine 4 game titles: so it’s not rendering most of them correctly.
If the renders were 100% correct, I would have uploaded screenshots of all the new characters and vehicles. But the shots I’m showing here are the only ones that are recognizable. The rest of the models are badly distorted. Like I said before, all of these characters are present: Beck, Classic TRON, CLU, Flynn, Mara, Quorra, Rinzler, Sark, and Yori.
For some reason, the character model for Flynn is the younger, classic version of him. Not the older Flynn from Legacy. (Though maybe that’s still to come?) BTW, I think we can ignore the fact that Sark and CLU look blue here. It’s just a default color. (Remember that you’re supposed to be able to change your character’s color.)
After a bit more snooping: I discovered that, internally, the game refers to the Companions as Bytes. So, it’s confirmed now that they were inspired by Byte (and maybe the C.O.W., too) from TRON 2.0.
I also forgot to mention in the past, that there will be another game mode called “Remix” in the future. I’m getting the impression it will allow you to switch back and forth between Disc/Light Cycle/Light Runner levels on demand? Rather than letting the game randomly select them for you in the upcoming endless “Stream” mode.

Some disappointing news about the Feb. 16, 2016 release of TRON RUN/r. It looks like it won’t have online Multiplayer, where players could compete head-to-head. In fact, it won’t even have local Multiplayer.
The Disney Games page for TRON RUN/r mentions being able to “challenge friends” in the new Stream mode. But apparently it’s only going to be everyone racing separately, and comparing scores on a leaderboard. Nothing more to it, at this time.
Also, it looks like I was right about the Light Runner. Doesn’t seem to be in the game at release, and is being held back for a later DLC.
On the positive side, apparently they’ve added a female program character model now, and you can change the color of your program. But it seems any other new characters are, again, going to be DLC later. There are supposed to be more Companions (those floaty friends that kind of look like a Bit or Byte) coming in the future, too.
All this info is from discussions I had with someone going by the nickname Debonair Kitty, on the Steam forum. He claims to have played the Feb. 16th version of the game at PAX South, where Disney Interactive was showing it off early.

I noticed that nowhere in the descriptions for the “full” release of TRON RUN/r on Feb. 16, 2016 is Disney talking about the Light Runner (Quorra’s vehicle from TRON Legacy).
It’s in the game already. The assets are there in the Early Access version of the game on Steam. But they’re not currently being used. Is the fact that you’ll be able to drive a Light Runner, being held back as a surprise? Maybe. But I’m getting the impression it won’t be there on the 16th.
Has it been cut from the game completely? Remote chance, but highly unlikely they’d go to that effort and then drop it.
This is why I’ve been putting the word “full” in quotes. I still don’t think we’re getting the actual, full game on the 16th. It will be significantly more complete, but . . .

(TRON RUN/r was originally going to be called TRON Escape. In fact, if you look at the folder the game is in on your hard drive, it’s named “TRON Escape” and the game files are full of references to it.)
So I think the Light Runner will be added later in another DLC. Across all versions of the game (PC/PS4/XB1). Just a guess. Maybe they will include it right off the bat, and have just been keeping it as a surprise.

C0ldcath0de just confirmed that Steam Early Access buyers will get the “full” version of TRON RUN/r on February 16, 2016. (There’s also been another update that adds 3 more Light Cycle levels, by the way!)
So if you want to save some money, buy the Early Access version before Feb. 16 and you’ll get the full game for $10. The price will go up to $20 by the 16th, and the console versions are also $20.
Shame that he seems to be moving on, and “somebody else” will be taking over PR (and dev?) duties. I liked the way he engaged with the fans in his news updates.

Remember when it was rumored that Skrillex would be involved in the TRON RUN/r soundtrack? (We already knew Giorgio Moroder would be.)
Well, this IGN video reveals the full list of contributors to the soundtrack. Unfortunately(?) Skrillex is not among them.
P.S. This video implies that Early Access owners on Steam will get the full game even though they only pay $10 instead of $20 for the console versions.
