Added Eragon’s blue fire around Zar’roc! Took some fiddling, but I think it looks okay now. Thank you everyone for the love, support, advice, and all else. 💖
May continue to tweak this.
Edit: Evened out shading, too 👍🏻🙂

Canonically, as a storyteller, Brom would have had the story of his time as a Rider, storyteller, and as Eragon's father actually written.
Obviously, he chose Carvahall for many a reason. Having fought Galbatorix for over a hundred years, it does also show canonically that Galbatorix does have a habit of underestimating the simplest things, which Brom would have used to his advantage.
With the long winters, his vast knowledge of the Empire and beyond, and everything in it, he would have had the abilities to not only write volumes, but have it hidden to add to the history for future generations.

Orik’s Coronation Page
*Throws onto tumblr*
TAKE IT AND GET OUT.
I’m just kidding I love you guys. This page, tho? Nah. Fucking floor. WHY, PAOLINI, WHYYY?! WHY DO YOU USE THESE MINERALS TO MAKE MASSIVE FLOORS?! IT’S NOT FEASIBLE!
Note: Islanzadí’s up next. I might need to buy a new red pencil.
Tronjheim - Bottom View Eragon Awakening Project
“Tronjheim, called the City of Eternal Twilight by the Elves, was the capital city of the dwarves and home of the Varden, located within the Farthen Dûr mountain. It is a city-mountain and took generations to build.” One of the environments for my Eragon Awakening project.
Some of the (concept) art Christopher Paolini made, which I thought was pretty cool! Find more here.
Update on Orik’s Coronation page
After checking Eragon I’ve learned that the floor of the center chamber of Tronjheim is made of ‘polished carnelian.’
So.
That’s kinda annoying.
I’ll be doing the pattern that Orik is kneeling on as carnelian as a result unless I find anything describing a pattern on the floor. The rest will be grey or brown. Because extinct volcano.
Edit: I’ve always been unable to grasp the layout/scale/general goings-on of Farthen Dur and Tronjheim. I found Paolini’s diagram of the mountain on his website and while it’s very basic and just gives scale and the location of about 3 of the major features, it does help me quite a bit. Thought I should share!
