Troost Barleywine (Picked up at Ekoplaza Foodmarqt in Amsterdam). A 3 of 4. A pretty standard old-world barleywine with a ton of caramel malt sweetness and character. Some citrus and almost apple-like fruitiness is present, and this is very much on the sweet side, with primarily just booze to cut the sweetness without a ton of bitterness.
