Tropical-Rouge! Precure 01 VOstfr

Il est temps de commencer cette nouvelle saison sous le signe des tropiques... Voici le 1er épisode de “Tropical-Rouge! Precure”!!

Tout est nouveau, tout est beau et tout respire l’été! Prenez place sous les cocotiers et “Viva Precure!” (c’est l’OP qui le dit) Pour le nom des monstres, les Yaraneeda, c’est dérivé de Yaranai (やらない) qui veut dire “Je veux pas le faire” (ils répètent donc ça sans arrêt en quelque sorte). C’est un peu le thème des méchants, eux incarnent l’envie de rien faire et la flemme tandis que les Precure les affrontent en étant tout le contraire.

Tropique Cafe & Restaurant

Tropique Cafe & Restaurant is located at Spring Lab @ EcoSpring. This cafe was opened by the same folks from The Replacement Lodge & Kitchen, Shakespeare, and Faculty of Caffeine.

Tropique is the best place for a good time over a hearty meal in Johor Bahru. Housed in an inviting two-storey Wes Anderson-esque greenhouse-inspired establishment decked out with wooden communal counters and bright elaborate pieces, the newly-launched 120-seat restaurant features a charming French-inspired menu with a good selection of wine to pair with perfect brunches, afternoon tea, romantic dates for dinner and glamorous celebrations.

The two-storey cafe is also an ideal space for every occasion such as events and wedding venues; whether it’s to celebrate the union of a couple, saying thank you to key clients or launching a new product. In the evening, Tropique transforms into a modern contemporary dining paradise with an impressive wine and cocktail selection.

Environmental sanitation: 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑

Tropique Cafe & Restaurant is a great place for couples, families, and friends gathering with the combination of casual and luxury. With the sunlight shining through the glasshouse, the cafe brings us a positive vibe during the day time. The wooden chairs and the other parts of the inner design bring out the nostalgic feeling for us. It seems to be welcoming us to our tropical getaway.

Creme Brulee Tart (RM 15.90)

Deliciousness: 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗

The first dessert that we’ve tried in Tropique Cafe & Restaurant is Creme Brulee Tart. The house-made Creme Brulee Tarts was served with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream and yuzu cream.

There is nothing more satisfying than cracking through the sugar on the top of creme brulee, and the caramelization on this dessert was just enough to create that pleasing shatter. Beneath the golden crust was a delicious caramel egg custard, at the same time the dollop of vanilla ice cream and yuzu cream have the right amount of sweetness. The price is also reasonable for this quality of food. 

Madam Lim’s Brownie (RM 22.90)

Deliciousness: 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗

We got to have a glimpse and taste of the legendary Madam Lim's Brownie as it is one of the signatures in Tropique Cafe & Restaurant. It is made in rich dark chocolate brownie topped with vanilla ice cream, popcorn, and house-made granola.

While we won’t find any oozy chocolate lava inside, each bite of the cake is filled with the flavour of quality dark chocolate. Better still, it comes drenched in a pool of popcorn, house-made granola, and vanilla ice cream. With the moist, rich and chocolatey taste of Madam Lim’s Brownie still fresh on our lips.

Overall, we enjoyed our high tea session at Tropique Cafe & Restaurant as the desserts that we have tasted were delicious.
