If you are advocating for Communism and someone asks you about China, especially if you have a large platform, you should not waste time either defending or attacking them. Unless you live in China or want to replicate their system exact it is an entirely avoidable conversation.

Internal debate on China is good for figuring out what path your party should advance and if you do want to replicate their system then you will have to deal with the attacks.
