“Double Trouble. Now what are you doing here~?” Catra’s voice flowed smooth like silk, eerily calm and relaxed for the feline. A disturbing smile formed as she spoke while she swiftly strode over to her previous companion. “Have you come to step into the light?” Slowly, Catra would look the shapeshifter up and down as if studying any imperfection or difference from the last time they had seen one another. The normally mismatching colored eyes now were glowing a sickly green with no emotion behind them.

“I do hope so. You would make  such a... lovely addition to our family.”

She never had any tact or any real view of fear or personal space, something that was shown by the fact that she suddenly was in Double Troubles face, click, on went the recorder. “Reptilian look, intelligent feel, quite skilled, curious indeed, how is it that Double Trouble, from this point on referred to as Subject Gamma, is able to shift forms entirely. More then that further curiosity arises, how is Subject Gamma able to so entirely mimic their entire personality and mindset after only moments of observation......truly a fascinating specimen.” And click, the recorder was off.

The endless war had come to an end, every kingdom was reflecting on repairing the havoc by joining forces within the neighborhood of their own realms. Etherians seemed finally at peace, there was no need for She-Ra..

But what She-Ra desperately needed (according to DT) was, how to put it without hurting her ego? some …lessons in order to reach out and invite certain feline out.

Just because they already declared their love for each other it didn’t mean it would be easier to just ask out Catra on a date.

“..So, I don’t know why would I need some advice from you, Chameleon. I mean I’ve got this... and these!” The blonde smirked a dazzling smile while flexing her biceps, thinking to herself that well, it was kind of charming enough.

Adding to the DT/Scorpia train: The two of them sing duets together all the time and their mutually favorite musical is Grease.

You have some how managed to name my absolute least favorite musical but you know what if i got to listen to DT sing the ensemble and the main parts on point while Scorpia just tried to keep up bc SHE COULDNT DO THIS IN THE HORDE ugh I would love that

“Self distancing? This is how I normally sleep when someone else is around.” Huffing, yes, she didn’t want to be close to DT while they slept she certainly didn’t know how else she would sleep with them. The bed was only so big and again she was used to sleeping like this from being in the Horde. “I don’t use blankets, my fur keeps me plenty warm and I don’t like overheating or sweating when I’m asleep, gross.” Since Catra was already curled up now, she didn’t bother to even look at DT as they talked so unfortunately she missed the eyebrow wiggle but her face still flushed very lightly when hearing the teasing.

Catra just stood there. It was a surprise to see Double Trouble with the rebellion considering that they never showed any great emotion one way or another and after seeing Horde Prime’s attack she was sure that Double would have changed sides once more as it looked like he was going to win. Part of her was... glad that they got out of this mess seemingly unscathed, but how was she going to talk to them now? So much had happened since Catra had been swept away to Horde Prime’s ship along with Sparkles.

“....Hey” Was the only thing her brain could come up with in this moment. Arguably not the best thing to say but... it was all she had.

“Don’t let them get hurt. I know you are smart and cunning but you can still get caught. If I hear they got harmed in any way, or imprisoned, not even She-Ra will be able to heal you after I’m done and she won’t be able to hold me back.” Catra marched up to Double Trouble. After haring about their little ‘adventure’ to the Crimson Waste she was going to set things straight. While she respected her child’s freedom being a criminal wasn’t necessarily what she wanted for her only kid. Her eyes had a fire within them, similar to back when they were still in the Horde. Anger burned through her as she thought about the possibilities of Finn possibly getting hurt or worse. There was something in this intense glare that proved her words right. Even with the power of the First Ones, nothing would stop her from protecting her kitten.
