I was a teen during the golden age of social justice culture wars and since I had a tumblr I was easily influenced by the radical leftist ideas, since they appeal to emotion by design and critical thinking or even questioning were agressively prohibited (it's not my job to educate you / you as a white/cis/hetero/man/neurotypical/whatever can not define what consists as ableism/racism/homophobia etc / if you don't agree with x and y then you're no better than a Nazi / no dark jokes are allowed since they desensitivize you! / don't even dare listen to the other side because they will manipulate you ...) to the point that even though deep down I recognized the errors and flaws in most of "my" views and the double thinking I had to do to fit two or more core ideas that were antithetical to each other I was too afraid to admit them as such because then I would be no better than Those bigots, right?
Anyway, I got busy one day, stopped using tumblr for a month or two and I just magically stopped thinking like that. Back then I would fondly think of myself as a "nazi" and not because I ended up being radicalized just on the other side but because the years long mantra of "anyone who thinks differently is a nazi" still stuck in my head combined with me also becoming completely apathetic to this kind of manipulation got me to the point of not giving a single shit. I was like "well if saying that some foreign names are hard to pronounce for specific language groups makes me a racist, then I'm a racist, yippee" or "if hating communism makes me a capitalist pig, then I'm a capitalist pig, yippee" and so on.
It's just that I think most 4channers who call themselves nazis are similar to how I was back then. If they are gonna call you a nazi or whatever buzzword they wanna throw at you anyway, why even fight it? You're not gonna change their minds no matter what you say. Hell, I would be called a nazi today because I support the jews defending themselves against terrorists, how fucking funny is that. Not even that, YOU guys are the new Nazis the world has to defeat like in the Marvel comics!!! Sksbbsjia stupidest fucking timeline.
