Spoiler TADC episode 9
Mostly has to do with my au
So Jax has been confirmed to be trans so I just wanna specify a small part for my true Circus AU. So I'm not going to change Jack's gender and Jax as a character will be referred to as he/him for three reasons. So hear me out, it makes sense.
1. Jack is the "actor/acrobat" for Jax's character, so he doesn't need to be of the same gender identity, since they are two separate characters, one real the other in a videogame.
2. Jax, in the TADC "videogame", will still be referred to as he/him simply because the game has just reached (as of chapters 15+) the equivalent to the pilot of the show, and my au's fic will clearly end before the game in the story gets updates to reach the final act, plus in the show itself no one uses she/her so in the game it'll follow the show's story.
3. I'm currently writing chapter 20 and I started before we had any confirmation so I'll just go with the flow by assuming it's an AU and not the character itself, my AU is already very apart from the actual show anyways.
So of course out of my AU I won't refer to Jax as a man, but for my AU I will for the reasons stated above. Just wanted to take the time to clarify this rq:))
