this was super fun bc as i was drawing this it gave me a lot to think about! a little-known fact about me is that i happen to be a bit of a True Sign nerd (though not really being interested in the real Zodiac), so of course i just had to assign each of them to a True Sign i felt would fit each of them the best. apologies if this text part is a bit long
i matched them up based on a combination of their personalities with their canonically-assigned real Zodiac signs. some of these came to me easily, but others weren't so obvious and i had to think about them for a bit!
Ocean is a Caprinius, which is a Purple sign combined with the Aspect of Hope and a Prospitian alignment
Noel is a Pirius, which is a Fuscia sign (ik it doesn't fit with HS canon, but in RtC Noel's a Pisces) combined with the Aspect of Doom and a Dersite alignment
Mischa is a Leries, which is an Olive sign combined with the Aspect of Time and a Dersite alignment (although he does have the emotional nature of a Prospitian, he hides it behind a rebellious persona like a Dersite)
Ricky is a Gemgo, which is a Gold sign combined with the Aspect of Space (very fitting coincidence!!) and a Prospitian alignment
Jane Doe is an Armino, and i'm so glad she's a Burgundy sign bc it really fits with Aradia's role during the time that she was dead. it's got a combination of the Aspect of Doom with a Prospitian alignment
Constance is a Scorci, which is a Blue sign combined with the Aspect of Life and a Prospitian alignment. i must say, this is a suuuper interesting mix of fairly conflicting properties!
i feel the horns are also worth noting bc although i wasn't able to come up with meaningful shapes for all of them, i made sure to give Ricky cat ears (which still stick out a bit into 2 parts each bc he's not an Oliveblood), Ocean some musical notes, and Jane some horns that go up and down like the trajectory of the Cyclone
i also couldn't help but think up some headcanons for if this was a proper AU, and i feel like sharing them lol
it'd take place in a failed Sburb session the six members of the Choir had been playing, that ended up with all of them dying
Mischa spent a long time writing to Tahlia through those special computer monitors the HS trolls used to troll the kids, but of course lost connection with her after the Choir died
Mischa's Lusus died, and so he spent the time leading up to the Sburb session fending for himself. during this time he broke one of his horns
This version of Monique Gibeau is a Rustblood who, at the end of her story, ends up being culled
Constance struggles with feeling like a loser as a Blueblood because she's never killed anyone (just like in RtC with the whole "nicest girl in town" thing)
Ricky hatched with a mutation, so his Lusus kept him hidden for years so he wouldn't get culled
and on a much less serious note i had the hilarious thought of "what if this universe's Jane Doe got her head replaced by a Scalemate's head"
again, sorry if this is kinda long, but i was kinda hyperfixating on this and needed to get these ideas out lol
