SUMMARY: after a couple weeks of getting...close, regina finally says something. and you dont stay quiet.

REQUEST: “What about when karen smith reader and nerd Rafe finally start dating? They keep it a secret for a little and she realizes she really loves him and vice versa, and then regina finds out and is like ew, but reader doesn’t have it and stands up for him!!”

you and rafe have been getting...close! you slept with him once. or twice...or thrice...

“i-i never done this.” he whispered as you got ontop of him, your pink acrylic nails digging into his biceps. he was hiding a lot under his shirt. and pants. “it's okay.” you smiled at him reassuringly, softly grinding on him. your pink panties growing wetter at the minute. “ill guide you...”

after that you avoided rafe.

not because you were embarrassed, regina was the one that cared about statuses more. but because you didnt know how you would react when regina would inevitably talk bad about him.

and later that day, when she saw rafe talking with rodrick at lunch, she ofcourse had to say something. “look at them...losers.” she smiled to herself, gretchen giggled as they continued talking bad about rodrick and rafe. you stayed quiet until you heard, “i heard rafe's parents were poor. no wonder he doesn't have any friends.”

(which was a total lie because you been at his house and you know his parents are rich)

that made you slam your plate down on the table. it made everyone in the cafeteria turn to look at your table. “do you do anything but talk bad about people?” you shouted, eyes narrowing. regina's eyes widened. you were never one to stand up for yourself...you were kind of a bubble head.

so seeing you so...aware? was kind of scary. “all you both do is talk bad about people when they have been nothing but kind to you!” you stood up, looking away from the dropped jaws of regina and gretchen.

“and regina...just because rodrick turned you down, it doesn't mean you get to let your anger out on rafe.” there were a few gasps, a couple snickers coming from rodricks and rafe's table aswell. “oh and gretchen, you deciding to piggy back off on that, as if you weren't boning coling gray is pretty hypocritical.”gretched gasped, playing it off with a laugh. “i dont know what you're talking about.”

you turned to rafe before walking out the cafeteria. your kitten heels clicking against the floor. rafe simply stares, only to be shoved out of the table by rodrick. “go get her dude!” rodrick urged, smirking at him.

he stumbled out the cafeteria, quickly catching up to you. his hands go to your cheeks, smiling softly. “hey, that was-”

“stupid. it was pretty stupid.” you cut in, whimpering.

god, you were crying. he didnt know how to react to your quivering glossy lips and trembling hands. so he simply held you close. “no it was brave. nobody in the school has ever stood up to regina. you're so so brave.” you whimper against his chest, gently digging your nails into his back.

it was a bit scary seeing your usual bubbly, oblivious self turn into putty in his arms. well in a situation like this, he's pretty used to seeing you fall apart in his bed.

“h-hey," he stutters, hesitating before cupping your cheeks. his knees almsot buckle at the sight of you. “dont cry, you'll ruin your pretty makeup.” you giggle at that, nodding before straightening up. you try to stop crying, but his comfort only makes you feel more vulnerable.

“rafey..” you whine, burrowing your face into his neck. rafe sighs, before turning towards the sound of the cafeteria doors opening. rodrick and colin walk out, and rafe makes sure he keeps your head against his neck. “we're ditching the last 2 periods, wanna come? she can come too.” rodrick nods towards you before looking at rafe expectantly.

rafe usually would say tho. he would say that he has algebra and that he cant miss that period. but how can he say no when you're crying in his arms!!

“come on,” he mumbles, his hand on your back as he guides you infront of him, following rodrick and colin out the school. once all 4 of you make it to the parking lot, you pout, blinking some of your tears away.

“where's your jeep?” you turn to look at rafe, who's looking at you with a sheepish expression. “oh sweetheart,” rafe doesn't answer, rodrick does. “there's no jeep.” he goes infront of a white van that has “LOADED DIAPER” painted on the side.

this is definitely better than being beside regina, right?
