In my band AU after Robert sends Ion into a coma, that causes the CotBG band to break up and go their separate ways for many years. This is a parallel to the schisms of the modern churches.

Ezekiel backed up Robert because he was self projecting his own toxic relationship + "I've never seen him THAT angry, obviously there's a reason".

Hedwig went solo, though she still keeps in (tentative) contact with both Robert and Trunnion, she's really unsure of what to think of the whole situation. Also she doesn't want to get involved with the court case.

Trunnion and Conrod ran off together to form their own two person band, with their songs now falling more into the folk genre with occasional rock.

I hate them. If they're going to be in my mind 24/7 they could at least pay some fucking rent SMH.

First fanfic of the year! And it's Trunrod (because you all totally followed me to see my OC x canon content!). Ummm they're being little lesbians here (mainly Conrod, Trunnion's busy hating on the patriarchy). I'm still unsure about the tags so let me know if I missed anything...

I've also started thinking about throwing Conrod into the Medieval AU somewhere. Originally I thought of adding her to the knights, but I don't think that'll work because she's not and has never been a mekhanite. Instead, I was thinking that maybe she's a travelling bard that got forced out of her hometown due to a natural disaster or something. She travelled to the kingdom to start her life over, and it's while she's singing in an inn that she catches Trunnion's eye, and they become friends.

Have any of you seen that video with the two country boys doing line dancing together very gayly. Imagine that but, hear me out: Trunrod.

Trunnion is really the worst kind of person to know if you're butch4butch. Because she'll be like VERY openly into femmes and women in general, but the moment it comes to a butch woman she treats it like a bromance.

"What are you talking about? We're just really good friends. :]" AS she's got her hand on their ass. You know.

Of course this drives Conrod insane. She's at a point where she thinks the only way to Get to Trunnion is to openly declare "I'm in love with you. Please date me." But she has undiagnosed social anxiety and would have to prep herself for MONTHS before she could even attempt it.

The important thing to know about Trunrod is that like half the reason Trunnion won't even consider dating Conrod is because they met when she was so young. She feels like she'd be taking advantage of her if she did... And this mindset continues well into modern times when their age gap becomes meaningless because Conrod is also over the age of 100. (The other half being that they're both butches and butches dating each other was considered strange back then.)
