True to my blog name, I have always been too late to the party.

And this time is not any different.

I have very recently started falling into the rabbit hole that is BTS. I had previously listened to their English trilogy before (those were hard to escape at one point), but I did not think much of them at the time.

Mid January, I stumbled upon a clip of them performing live, and the rest of history. I was hooked and thus started my research.

Now, imagine being me, finding BTS one whole ass month after the remaining 4 have already enlisted. I felt like a proper idiot.

I thought, hey, time to catch up. In no time I was already hooked on the music, the live performances, the energy and most importantly, the friendship. Watching Run BTS, Bangtan Bombs, behind the scenes material, In the Soop, Bon Voyage, you just can’t help but clock the genuine family-like friendship and care between all 7 members. It’s honestly captivating.

And, of course, Army.

The relationship between BTS and Army is intriguing to me. Unlike anything I have ever seen.

However, I feel as if I have landed in the wrong place in twitter. Fri(end)s is the first release I am actually here for, and I thought it would be fun to check what the folks at twitter are up to.

And boy, was I in over my head.

I was completely taken aback by the amount of clashes going on, the amount of insults being thrown about to both fans and artists. Jimin fans, Taehyung fans and Jungkook fans going after each other and calling each other out left and right. Being hateful to each other and the guys.

It felt like an insult to the guys, and what they stand for. And I feel trusfrated.

I am hoping and crossing my fingers that I have somehow landed in the wrong part of twitter. I am hoping that there are Army out there who support all 7 of them, and at the very least, would not be insulting to those who are not their favorite. And I am hoping to be guided to where I can find true Army, the ones I have read (and watched videos) a lot about.

I'm saying this in ask so that more people get to see it but :

Either the post or the account needs to be reported. The amount of disrespect they're showing by tagging Bighit in their childish theories!!! They've been tagging JK's brother in their fantasies on IG and now tagging Bighit to put pressure?!

They're going nuts! If they keep up this crap this will put pressure on all three of them, JK Jimin and Tae do they even realise that?

They have the right to ship Taekook but why do they keep on dragging everyone in their crap. BRUH!! AM MAD!

I think, after the outcome of today’s Korea presidential election, that Jimin and Jungkook and probably all of BTS has more pressing concerns than the constant whining of the Taekook segment of the fandom.

Because their whining IS CONSTANT. These are not fans concerned about the real life issues facing queer people in Korea. That much is clear. They legit don’t know or care what would happen to a gay couple who has yet to complete what may now be mandated military service, there.

None of that enters their narrow little minds. Neither boundaries or family members, not the company or the members themselves are safe from their self-important tirades. But we - those ARMY who are NOT insane - and BTS?

We have Better Shit To Do.

We have livestreams in nine hours and ya girl needs a link or ten because guess who’s too broke for more tickets. They have a performance to give where they are gonna knock the toe socks off Seoul and the world.

They’ve got lives to lead (cha-cha) and so do we. For those with no lives, let ‘em yell or call them out or leave notes on their car. Do what you gotta do.

Me? I gotta suck it up and buy a new laptop because I can’t watch the Jeon-Parks be amazing on an iPhone SE. It’s too small to see nip slips properly.
