It was one of those rare days he felt lazy, the bed a better comfort than the couch or wandering around as he typically did. He hadn’t even bothered dressing himself after Tony had left, his picked clothes for the day still folded neatly while he lounged on the plush bed in the silk pajama pants he’d been given for the night. He was more engrossed in his phone, having received a text from Sam about new runes they’d found for a case. They were difficult to see with the low quality pictures, the angel grumbling as he zoomed in to try and see better details.
He didn’t even bother looking up as the door to the room clicked open and footsteps came in, already recognizing Tony’s presence. He didn’t however expect the sudden weight to settle on his lap, phone forgotten as he looked up at the other in confusion. He tilted his head, placing the phone to the side in favor of placing a hand on either side of Tony’s legs, giving his thighs a slight squeeze. “Are you already done for the day?” Had he been that distracted today?
