It is truly admirable that you have been able to find beauty in this life after everything you have been through. This is no easy feat, and it takes strength to be able to rise above and see how life can still be beautiful here. I hope you can continue to hold on to just how much progress you have made over the years. There will be moments in the future where you may forget your progress and your strength, but I hope even then, you can slow down and have gratitude for any little thing that reminds you of how far you have come.
You, yes you, are an example of courage and strength to those around you. Even in subtle ways. And in the same way you are learning from others, they are learning from you too, and I hope you are always able to remember that. I hope you are able to be the one who is unafraid to slow down and see where the Light has poured in, over and over again, after everything that happened. You have overcome so much. And I hope every day you find an opportunity to have gratitude for your progress.
Because you have known what it means to lose. You have known what it means to have your heart broken and to be disappointed...to give so much of yourself without knowing what you would receive in return. And you have also known what it means to look within, and to come back stronger than you have ever been. This is grace. This is strength. And it has always been within you, even when it is easy to forget.
And just like wildflowers have this way
of showing up in an unexpected place
and blooming anyway
your hope
and strength
will bloom all the same.
In this life, you will continue to be surprised by the unexpected, and as terrifying as that may be, it can also be beautiful. And even when you are met with an unexpected amount of rain, you might just be met with an unexpected amount of wildflowers. You might come to find that as they bloom, there is more to life and more to you.
You have already seen beautiful and unexpected things happen in your life and may you can remember that moments like that are not over for you. I hope your heart can remain open to the possibility of all the ways that Light gets in, and all the ways wildflowers can grow, no matter your new unknowns.
Your story is filled with more wildflowers than you know...beautiful, living things that spring up in unexpected places, adding texture and story to landscape of your life. Your story is still being written. Unexpected things can still happen. And after everything you have been through, you have been strengthened to experience that.
