Truth Hour [MerDer]
The warm welcoming she had gotten from the staff had been very helpful in what had turned out to be an overwhelming, confusing, crazy day. At least she had her research to focus on, which Schmitt was helping with, and she had gotten her department back which felt so great. To be in control... especially today, had been extremely satisfying. But even though she had tried to chase everything else away, all she kept going back to was Derek and the kids. Ellis in particular. She wished she would have prepared herself better for this turn of events because she really had no idea how to handle this, but again, who prepares themselves for their spouse to come back from the dead.
This morning she barely could line up two words to him, but now she had to talk to him. She needed to tell him about Ellis, and she needed to know why he had been gone this long. Because all day, she kept going back to that day he had come back, five years ago, before the accident. To that woman that had picked up her call on his phone. All day, she had wondered if she was who he had gone to find. Because he had done it once. He had left his wife for his student. And though it would not sink in that he would go as far as abandoning his kids, and even her, for another life out in Washington, it could be possible. At this point, anything was.
She just needed to know, so she had typed up the phone number Derek had written down on the post-it that morning and sent him a text message, asking him to meet her in the park near the hospital. She could not meet him at the house, the kids were there. Amelia was there. It had to be somewhere public, but somewhere where they could talk without feeling observed and eaves dropped on. Getting his confirmation back, Meredith grabbed her stuffed, closed her office and locked the door, then headed down the hall to the elevator. She sent Maggie a quick text, letting her know she would not be home too late but was meeting him now. She checked up Maggie’s response that said, “Take all the time you need and get all the answers you need to process this. I’ll wait for you with a glass of wine, Amy’s at Link’s tonight so it’ll be just you and me. Kids are eating chocolate muffins & watching Cars II. Haven’t said anything. It’ll be ok, we love you.” Meredith swallowed thickly before putting her phone away, moving her head up and heading off the elevator, down the front doors. She dropped her stuff in her car and then decided to walk down the block to the park. The more she walked, the more stressed she got, but she also knew she would never be able to go another minute without telling him about Ellis. He deserved to know. She wanted him to know.

Truth Hour || Meredith & Allison
When Lexie’s boyfriend showed up in her room, Meredith excused herself and left them together, only a single thought in mind; find out more information about that woman, aka Zola’s biological mother. She needed to know who she was, what was her name, why she was here, why she gaze Zola away. She almost wanted to find something, a simple little information that would convince her meeting her was a bad idea so they could all forget about it and move on. So she did not have to feel like the other mother anymore. Ever since Janet had walked in Derek’s office and told them that woman wanted to meet Zola, her whole body had started to feel so heavy. Her heart had sank, she felt both angry and demolished inside. She just needed to find out who that woman was. She was here, Janet had said that she should be at the hospital for a few more days, meaning there was a file in the system under her name, with information about her. Meaning she could look in the system and find out information about her, and she did not care that she was overstepping the rules, nobody had to know. She stepped in the room behind the nurses station where a computer was available and sat down, finding herself breathing quickly as she stared up at the screen. Swallowing, she had to think of how to look her up. Should she check the latest incoming of the past, let’s say two days maybe? So she had time to be admitted and reach out to Janet, who then reached out to them? Or should she check in the program that Alex had put up directly and try and find her name there? Yes, that sounded like the best option. Grabbing the mouse, Meredith goes into the system and looks up any files related to the SGMWAMR program.

I have chosen Truth along with Life. Because without Truth, Soul dies.
Armaan . Soul dies.
