I could write about anything or anyone but right now I’m loss for words.

I want to write about something not about someone. But I’ll write this one for you.

I want you to know why these scars are faded.

Want you to know my past, present and future.

Maybe I want you to know that every time I got hurt I left a part of me there. To remind someone why this place reeks of sadness.

Building monuments of hurtful words, of made up excuses and all the inbetweens.

And I know it has been years, it was ages ago.

But that makes it not hurt any less.

The way you left me hanging like it was just a one way street, no turning back. Getting behind my back, stabbing me with a knife made out of all the sorries you didn’t mean.

And I still want you to know why these scars are no longer my nemesis and they are fading for good.
