Gosh, they're so pretty.
This is a Rainbow Scarab, and despite its striking appearance.. It's a dung beetle. It eats poop.
These bugs are rather beneficial and most pest controls won't eliminate them.
I remember the first time I saw one of these babies, and it seemed to know that I was in awe of it. I got really close and was taking pictures of it, and it seemed as though it was posing for me. It only flew away when someone else got close to it.

The more I practice the more I seek to create my own spells and keep them private.
There’s a certain power in knowledge that is only mine.
I’ve realized that teaching witchcraft is more about teaching others how to affect change through magic than sharing spells and rituals.
Keeping them close to my chest has made my practice feel more sacred, more mine.
I’m not saying everyone should keep their practice private, but sitting down and thinking about what information you want public is definitely a good idea.
That said, I think it’s also beneficial to be open at the start of your practice.
Compare notes and spells if you’re comfortable.
But as you become more advanced you may find the spells that you crafted only for yourself are the most powerful.
Because it's simply your experiences
