life is like this:
imagine everybody gets a video game. the same game. it would be fair if everyone started on the same level, on the same mode. but life isnt really fair.
so some people start at the first level.
some the third
fifth
eighth
tenth
and some people have to play on hard mode
they all go through the same levels though. But some people have to put more work in to pass them.
the people who started on the first level have to work extra hard to catch up.
the people on hard mode have extra obstacles and sometimes they’re told that they dont really play on hard mode.
now imagine the levels as money, good grades, popularity, etc. and hard mode as things like being neurodivergent, race, gender, sexuality, religion, and etc.
thats life.
