        Sitting upright as Kiri jumped out of bed to more closely inspect the surprise present, seeing said surprise widen on the redhead’s face was worth every bit of effort he’d gone through to make the present happen and then sneak it in here. He knew Kiri later finding out that Bakugou’s own father designed the hoodie would up the cool factor for him, but that could be a detail to tell him another time after Kiri got over the initial excitement and Bakugou had a good time to bring up the specific fact about the present.

        “Yes you can because it was made just for you to be the only person to have it. First piece of Red Riot merch to ever exist before you no doubt have more stuff made a few years from now after you start kicking ass on the pro hero circuit.” Reaching forward to grasp Kiri’s shirt and pull his boyfriend into his lap, Bakugou’s arms loosely looped around Kiri’s waist to hold him. 

        “But hell yes I had to do this for you, how the hell else would I one up myself from your present last year?” By that, he namely meant the fact that they got together on Kirishima’s birthday last year and Kiri had been stuck with his blasty boyfriend ever since.
