     She had heard about the article her niece published, it was kinda hard not to with the entire town talking about it. The brunette had never heard the word ‘ hypocrite ’ so many times in one day, and that was one of the kinder words used. Skylar decided after a few hours of deliberation that the whole ordeal warranted a visit her twin for the first time in years. 

     An unusual feeling of anxiety was settled in the pit of her stomach as she stood on the Cooper’s front step, hoping it’d at least be Alice who answered. Though she couldn’t be sure her sister wouldn’t send her away before she’d even said hello. After all it had been the blonde that’d cut ties in the first place. 

     “ How you doin, prom queen ? ” Skylar asked, feigning confidence as the door opened to a face almost identical to her own.
