Thank you @chickadvisor & @schwarzkopfcan for giving me the opportunity to try Schwarzkopf Root Retoucher. I received this product free for review/testing purposes but all opinions are my own. I love a good root cover up so I was really excited to be selected for this trial. First, it works great at covering up my ash coloured roots to match my dyed black hair. The texture it left my hair was really nice as well - manageable, brushable and a good amount of volume added, without leaving my roots feeling tacky. There was next to no fallout over the day as well. The product filled in some thin parts of my hair nicely as well. Unfortunately I'm not thrilled about the applicator... I was expecting a standard hairspray applicator, this comes with a skinny half inch nozzle that drips when pressure has been released... resulting in black drops hitting my cheeks. Granted it does wash off easily with soap & water, but I already have my make-up done by the time I do my hair in the morning.
