Volume her udgivet 2 album og det 3. er på vej. Desuden medvirker Mikolaj Trzaska som gæst på The Wild Mans albummet “Fredensborg” Volumes CD "Æter" var den bedst sælgende Jazz CD i polen i 2008 og blev valgt til "Årets CD" i flere af de toneangivende polske blade. Læs evt Geigers artikler om Mikolaj Trzaska Mikołaj Trzaska (Poland) Mikołaj Trzaska – born in Gdańsk in 1966, saxophonist, bass clarinetist and film music composer, grew out of yass – a socio-artistic movement that in the 80-ties/ 90-ties opposed the rigidity of Polish jazz environment. Together with Tymon Tymański and a group of other musicians free from any doctrine they changed the image of Polish jazz music. Today he is the member of international trio Volumen and the member of among others Resonance of Ken Vandermark, Magic – Joe McPhee or Shofar trio with Raphael Rogiński and Macio Moretti – playing contemporary Jewish music. But above all he realises himself in the radical contemporary free jazz. He travels around the world cooperating with personalities of world improvisation among others with Peter Brötzmann, Joe McPhee, Ken Vandermak, Peter Friis Nielsen, Pete Ole Jorgensen, Michael Zerang, Evan Parker, Clementine Gasser, Franz Houtzinger, Jay Rosen, Domik Duval, Mark Sanders. He has recorded around fortieth albums. Peter Friis Nielsen: electric bass (Denmark) Grand master of electric bass on the Danish freeform/improv scene with a highly original way of playing. Has since the 70-ties been a central musician in groups like 4-5 Avantis, Clinch, Zirenes, Wild Mans Band and Ghost in the Machine (the two latter w/ PO Jørgens). PFN has also played and recorded with John Tchicai, Evan Parker, Peter Brötzman, Louis Moholo, Phil Minton, Kenneth Knudsen, Jesper Zeuthen, Marilyn Mazur, Marc Ducret, Mats Gustafson and Pat Thomas. Peter Ole Jørgensen - aka P.O. Jørgens and Pere Oliver Jørgens. (Denmark) Plays mainly Drums and percussion. Composer & Producer. Started to work with John Tchicai in 1974. Central figure on the freeform/improv scene for 40 years both as a highly creative drummer and producer. Has defined Danish improvised drumming for more than 40 years, releasing a stream of high-quality music on his own legendary label Ninth World Music. Composed over 50 scores for ballet, film and performances. Performs on 75+ LP, CD and DVD releases - ranging from danish rockers Mev over Charles Hayward to the upcomming duo album ”Live Free or Die” with legendary american singer David Thomas (Pere Ubu).
