this is the same gift i gave out last week, now for everyone! thank you to @dark-side-princess-sims for the previews.

these are my rainbow stitch zombie and insectoid alien default skins made nondefault and recolored. there are five recolors of the zombie and four recolors of the alien. these work for all ages, are geneticized (i believe all are at 0.9), and are NOT townified.

also included are nondefault recolors of the eyes from those defaults! i... can't remember if i geneticized those or not. i probably did, but didn't townify them. there's five recolors of the zombie eyes and four recolors of the alien eyes.

these use my moonshadow skins as a base. credits for those are included below.

Two New Alien Skins for your Sims 2 Game (Non-Default) in Blue and Purple

They are 100% Maxis Match, based off the vanilla sims 2 textures.

I use quite a few east Asian style skins for my Tokyo inspired hood, so need a good amount of variety! My favouries are Digi's skins that I use constantly, but recently I've become fond of Pöttchen's skinblend of Pooklet's Downboy skin with Ephemera's Asian skins- so I just wanted a few more colours of it to work with ^^

Bear in mind, I've not edited the skin at all, just recoloured. Its from 2009 and doesn't have different textures for fat & fit, and shows its age in a few ways. I used 6 of AlfredAskew's colours (swatch).

I'm not experienced in Genetisized skins, but I made custom, Geneticised and towniefied versions using Wardrobe Wrangler, so hopefully they work aha ^^ I've also Made Gen+Townie versions of Pöttchen's original colours, everything's labelled in a SFS folder.

good day my little picassos, here’s what i’d call the product of my inability to any longer look at my half finished skin edit my sims had been sporting for two years i’ve forgotten about! (check out the improved 2024 version of this skin here!)

its basically those darn skins by io with some collarbones i snatched from obscurus-sims skin no.9, lilith’s buttercup nosemask, sms sugar cravings eyes, jammed some mouseyblue waterline recolor by digi on there because the less tab 4 time the better, these goppolsme lips and the teeth are taken from sixfootsims’ moonfruit skin. is that it? i think so. groundbreaking, i just shouldve called it an edit but i could not not use the opportunity for this ridiculous name. 🌝

i kept the shade range down to the essentials this time around, adding an extra light and extra dark shade to the defaults. 1 & 4 are io’s original colors, the rest is a variety of different trapping actions stacked onto one another.

The Great MM Genetic Skin Setup

Kat??? Finally posting the geneticized skin setup that she’s been working on for the past two years???? (Re: the 1st picture in this post)

It’s finally here, and I’m incredibly excited! This is basically just all of my favorite maxis-match skins geneticized and townified (they will be inherited and appear on townies properly)! If you want to learn more about this, check out vimpse’s FAQ, and their own geneticized setup that inspired this one!

I released this on my WIPs page a while back, but since then I’ve added a bunch more tones, and cleaned up inconsistencies in genetic values, so please redownload if you downloaded the original!

This includes:

lilith’s honey honey

lilith’s marigold and dreadpirate’s addon shades

dreadpirate’s honeygold redux

noodlesims’ honey apple crisp

poppet’s edit of lilith’s feathers skin (used as defaults as well)

for a total of over 100 different skintones! I might add more in the future if I find some other skins that I like (I’m currently thinking of adding a version with lilith’s apple pie skins as well), but I’m pretty happy with this as it is right now. This setup includes poppet’s feathers defaults, so you should take your existing defaults out of your game first and replace them with the ones included in this setup if you want the skins to be inherited properly. 

All preview pictures are completely unedited because I’m lazy so you can get a clearer picture of what’s included.
