A directory of all my uploaded Sims 2 Creations
(correct as of 24th November 2023)
Hi Everyone,
Over the past 2 or so years I've become quite the prolific creator. I thought it was time to compile a list of all my resources I have made publicly available on ModTheSims, my SimFileShare, and on MediaFire. In Total I have 16 downloads - 3 bodyshop items (technically more but they are either incompatible or part of sets), 3 hoods plus one Subhood Conversions, 5 lot sets, 2 Names Mods (one Serious, one Less-so), and 3 SC4 terrains.
I intend to update this list as I upload more items, now I have everything in one place I might be tempted to dig some stuff out of old game saves (looking at you, lots and those clothing recolours i made). Enjoy! :D
Bodyshop (3):
Alien Eyes Defaults: (MTS Forum Thread) (MediaFire)
Camotard for Tank Grunt: (Tumblr) (SFS)
Blue and Purple Alien Skins (Tumblr) (SFS)
Hoods and Subhoods (4):
TheNeonPlumb's Belladonna Cove with Townies as a Subhood (Tumblr) (SFS)
If you watch Tea Addict's Twitch streams (and if you don't, you should), you may have heard us mentioning a Fame mod in passing.
This is in the earliest of stages and is completely subject to my whims about what I feel like working on, but since I've posted WIP pictures in various places and because someone on Reddit asked, I'm sharing an update here, too.
Under the cut is a window into the chaos that is my WIP folder.
Custom phone call where you can sign up for an agent and opt into the fame system. Your Sim won't get famous unless you want them to. My husband made the icon for me ๐คฉ
Recreation of the buffet from Superstar. Took a pause on this while I learnt about how to do shape keys in Blender from a Discord thread where I bothered Latmos about it 7 months ago. Will add cucumber sandwiches and other such delicacies soon.
Recording Studio booth - not functional yet. Need to work out why the sounds are playing so fast.
Theatre marquee that lights up correctly thanks to Crisps&Kerosene's extended standard material shader. Bonus director's chair as a dining chair and a bar stool, and advertisement bench in the background.
I'm taking my time, switching tasks to keep things fun and learning new things when I need to. I'll post occasional updates when I have something cool to show.
As a Sims 2 player, I know how easy it is to fall into the trap of repetitive storylines and play styles. So, I've put together this list of aspiration combinations and potential character archetypes that can spring from them. You can choose from them as you like or use dice rollers to incorporate them randomly. I personally like to roll a random die when selecting my sims' primary aspiration, and then personally select a secondary that suits their general personality and demeanor.
Archetypes list under the cut. ๐๐พ
Romance Archetypes
Romance + Family
1. Hopeless Romantic: This sim believes every partner is "the one". They're too quick to jump into relationships (and marriage/family) as a result. They tend to get swept up in the passion of it all and end up cheating on their current partners.
2. Wandering Eye: This sim strongly wants a happy marriage and family, but will gladly entertain an affair so long as nobody else finds out. What they don't know won't hurt them.
3. Rolling Stone: This sim thinks the highest form of connection two sims can have is sharing a child. Anyone they're in love with, they'd like to have a child with. And if it doesn't work out? Onto the next.
4. One Big Happy Family: This sim is polyamorous and would like to live in a home with all their partners and however many children are born from the polycule.
5. Serial Monogamist: They just love love. While in a relationship, they are faithful until they find the next person who catches their eye. They end the current relationship and move onto the next ad nauseam.
Romance + Knowledge
1. Hot for Teacher: This sim has a thing for educators. They'd date their college professor, their tutor, and anybody in the education field.
2. Muse: This sim is most attracted to those who are experts in their fields (the arts, especially). They like the idea of being a genius's inspiration.
3. Sexologist: This sim finds romantic relationships, attraction, and sexuality fascinating. They explore relationships as field studies and exercises in "chemistry".
4. Sapiosexual: This sim is only attracted to sims that stimulate or challenge them intellectually.
5. Tortured Genius: Rather than being the muse, this sim sees themself as the savant. And every savant needs a string of muse-like admirers, of course.
Romance + Fortune
1. Power Player: This sim aspires to have it all, and to them, "it all" is a lot of money and a lot of sexual partners.
2. Gold Digger: This sim thinks the only size that really matters is their partner's wallet. They're seeking to bag the sim with the biggest bag that they can get.
3. HR Nightmare: This sim sees their workplace as their own personal dating pool.
4. Paid Partner: This sim expects to be spoiled rotten by their romantic partners. They expect gifts, expensive vacations, and meals at the nicest restaurants in town. They are a luxury few can afford.
5. Sugar Parent: This sim wants the hottest young sim on their arm at any cost. No really, what's the price? They'll pay it.
Romance + Pleasure
1. Commitmentphobe: This sim is terrified of being tied down to any one person. They are not seeking a relationship of any kind, just a good time. Repeat dates are fine, but the minute the "what are we?" question arises, they bolt.
2. Hedonistic Hero: This sim loves having fun and woohooing is a LOT of fun. They're seeking to sleep with as many sims as they possibly can, whenever they can.
3. One Night Only: This sim is only interested in one night stands. Variety is the spice of life!
4. Exhibitionist: This sim REALLY likes to woohoo in public. It's a must have for their every intimate relationship.
5. Risky Woohooer: This sim loves to give love, but hates the feel of protection. Every woohoo is a "try for baby" woohoo.
Romance + Popularity
1. Romantic Ideal: This sim isn't satisfied with simply woohooing and dating, they want to be the very best any sim has ever had. They want every date to be a dream date, every woohoo to be the very best, and every relationship they enter to be of the highest quality.
2. Changeling: This sim is willing to change anything about themselves to be the most compatible with whomever they're dating. Job, hair color, makeup, clothing, friendship, even supernatural state -- they're willing to be whatever their partner wants.
3. Matchmaker: This sim is so adept at love and romance themselves that they seek to pair up all their friends and loved ones with their perfect matches. They throw a lot of parties and group outings to get singles in their network together.
4. Casanova: This sim is so good at romancing, it would be rude to restrain it to just one relationship. Their goal is to maintain as many loving relationships as they can at once. It only counts as cheating if they're caught!
5. Polyamorous: This sim has a lot of love to give. Their happily ever after isn't with "the one", it's with many! They'd like to have more than one romantic partner simultaneously to be truly happy.
Hey,I was hoping you can use Chris Hatch Railway Mod but change how it looks to the ones in New York City. The only one that I could find made by a sims 4 creator is from Scodee Yodee but if you find a one that you like more then use whatever is easier or better for you<3.ย Thank you
Funcional Subway Entrance NYC for The Sims 2
EP Required: Bon Voyage minimum
I used Chris Hatch's Railway Mod to make this CC. They have the same GUID, so please choose only one :D
The light bulb part will glow at night, but it doesn't function as an lamp.
Below are the instructions from Chris Hatch:
"Found in the Community catalogue in Cars is the Subway Entrance. This is a functional subway and will enable your sims to go underground to catch a train to another community lot. Only travel between community lots is enabled because I can't conceive anyone actually having a private train station in their own back yard. There are no options available from a home lot nor is there a 'Go Home' option. When your sims travel by rail to another lot then if there's a subway entrance on the lot they travel to they'll emerge from the subway when they arrive, otherwise they'll arrive 'on foot'. The subway will generate an 'invisible walking lot car' for your family shortly after arrival so sims that arrive by train can still walk to another lot or home. 'non walk-by' visitors will arrive and depart via the subway to give it some life."
Mesh and texture belong to johnny_3D
The file included Chris Hatch's original file and the global override file.
Have I ever mentioned how much I love these outside-the-lot OMSPs?ย Well, if I havenโt, Iโm mentioning it now. :) Theyโre great for helping to make lots more contiguous with each other (and therefore have more of an โopen worldโ feel) because you can put stuff on neighboring lots when youโre building on a different one. And you can daisy-chain them, too, like this:
โฆso theoretically you could use them to place something on the other side of the neighborhood from the lot youโre building on. (Not that youโd really want to do that, but you could!) Itโs also handy when youโre building lots on corners, so you can place stuff on the road running along one side of the lot but thatโs not actually part of the lot. Like, say, streetlights and fire hydrants and mail boxes and newspaper dispensers and other stuff that generally sits on street corners. Like this:
I am a collector of all mods related to sickness/health in my Sims 2 gameplay. For a current WIP, I needed an overview of the available diseases. It's quite technical. But maybe someone else enjoys this overview.
So far, I am aware of:
STD by Chris Hatch or its medieval replacement of the Great Pox by @hodgekiss. The unique disease ID is 96.
@lamare-sims Elder Cough and Adult Weakness (inside of the RandomDeathSickness mod). The unique IDs are 34 and 314, respectively.
MidgetheTreeโs Guinea Pig Disease. Uses the IDs of maxis mysterious disease from 100-200.
Nyami's Chronic Illness mod uses a unique token instead of the "disease token" of the game, therefore representing a whole new class of disease. More details below.
Are there more mods out there, that assign a unique disease ID? Or create a new disease?
Recently, I noticed a shift in terminology regarding disease token propertiesโe.g. in code and mods by @episims, @lamare-sims or @blueybre (formerly know as LimeYoshi). My guess is that Maxis updated the disease properties BCON with labels in a later expansion pack. Because, if you open the latest object.package, you will find:
BCON x1001 (group ID 0x7F8A70B6)
The disease ID is still labeled as "SH: sympton hash" in maxis plague dialog string and in the early disease studies by Chris Hatch, Cyjon and J. M. Pescado. (Did I forget someone? let me know in the comments.)
If you use the FFS Lot Debugger (which uses maxis coding and labels) you might be familiar with the earlier terminology.
Terminology in modern mods are labeled green.
SH: Symptom Hash became disease ID
LD: Lethal Dose == deadliness. (Lamare called it the "Death Threshold"โmy personal favorite).
CS: Current Severity (if CS >= LD, sim dies) == severity
CT: Contagiousness (if -1, no disease tiles are droped and other sims can't catch it.)
RP: Recovery Points == avarage care (positive means your sim is recovering, negative means it will get worse)
RHC: Recovery Hour Count == loops since update (recovery points are subtracted from severity at fixed intervals. Popular mods let you adjust those intervals, making diseases more deadly.)
UNK: Pescado wrote "Your guess is as good as mine. ChrisHatch wrote that it is the 8th value and might be the diseasID." Which turned out to be incorrect, as we now know it is called initial severity.
From a coding perspective, I needed to learn which values I had to give the disease token to make a Sim sick with a specific disease. Below is an overview of the values that define and characterize the available diseases. These are the initial values that are set by the code and from where the disease will progress.
A wonderful feature of @lamare-sims mod is that some of the disease properties for Adult Weakness and Elders' Cough are BCON-tunable. The table above should help you to put these values into perspective.
The CS and IS values of the Maxis Mysterious Disease use a complex calculation based on skills and mood when the virus is generated via the Biotech Station.
I used Epi's Biotech Station to infect a large number of Sims (hehehe) to boil down these values into something more easily codable. My tests showed a rough d40+50. Epis code use the same value for CS and IS. d40+50 gives the same maximum severity as food poisoning and pneumonia (90), but the average level of severity is higher upon initial infection. Making it the more dangerous disease. And, the Mysterious Disease has the highest contagiousness of all.
MidgetheTree, like Epi, used the same value for CS and IS in the Guinea Pig disease. There is no calculation involved and the code sets the values as a d50. Making the Guinea pig disease a little less dangerous than the maxis MD.
For my project, I decided to use d40+50 for CS but an IS of d50.
The STD has code, that assigns different values to playables and townies. Clever, since the disease of townies does not progress.
Nyamis Chronical Illness does not use the ingame "disease token". It codes a unique new token. That means, ingame features and mods alike that search for the GUID of the disease token (comfort soup, immunity, spells, ginie wishes, the lot debugger, the simmanipulator, Simlers90 disease mod etc.) can't report or affect this disease. It is indeed a very unique illness.
One question for me remains after all this:
What does initial severity do?
My in-game tests did not reveal what this value does. It never changes when a disease progresses. It isn't really 'initial' in the sense that the sickness starts with it, because that is the value of CS. CS then changes as a disease progresses.
Is it more like a minimum value for severity that CS can't drop below? That doesn't make sense, though, because if CS becomes โค0, a Sim is 'healed.' My tests confirm Sims are healed through sleep for an STD.
Is someone out there that can explain it? Point me into a direction?
I have one more mod that utilizes maxis disease mechanics, it's a fuel based generator that can give sims "carbon simoxide poisoning" when run inside or too close. Disease ID 604 - fatigue and nausea.
The fun nerdy part about disease ID is how it determines which 2 symptoms a sick sim will have. It involves modular arithmetic. The calculation goes something like this:
x = ID mod 5
y = ID mod 6
if (x >= y), then x = x + 1
It yields x and y as different numbers from 0 to 5, which in turn coincide with symptom indexes:
By picking the right ID, you can create an illness with any two symptoms. Any ID besides the usual in-game illnesses will be treated as a mysterious/unique disease by the disease controller, and it will push symptoms based on this calculation.
Initial severity is indeed initial, it is a starting point of how bad the illness is when a sim gets sick. It isn't supposed to change in the course of sickness, 'cause then it wouldn't be "initial" anymore. The changeable value is current severity and it's for how well/bad the sim is doing at a given time.
Initial severity is important for contagious diseases, so that the controller knows what severity to assign to a newly contracting sim. Not sure if it's used for non-contagious diseases, but I tend to set it just in case anyway. When a sim gets the disease token, severity and initial severity are the same numbers, it being the initial point.
I've always hated how the camera jumps up and down when playing tall and slim buildings. Turns out, it's really easy to fix! Itโll take you less than a minute. All the details under the cut.
All it takes is opening the LiveCamera.txt file in your Documents>Cameras folder with a text editor and changing these two parameters near the bottom to a higher value. Doesnโt matter if you're using a custom camera mod or not. Those parameters should be there. I have set mine like this (remember to save a backup just in case you don't like these changes).
It might seem a bit extreme, but I still think itโs fine.
-The top parameter, floorheightsamplerange, handles how much the floors โextend outโ, so the camera object can stand on it mid-air. The higher it is, the further the floor will extend. This will make it so your camera will be able to stick to the floor youโre on, even if you pan away from the building. No more annoying jumps up and down!
-The parameter below that, floorheightsampleinnerrange, handles the transition between sticking to the current floor and dropping to the ground level once it goes past the edge. The higher it is, the smoothest the fall will be.
Iโll note though that the behaviour of these parameters might not be 100% accurate with how the game actually works, but from what I tested I think itโs pretty close as an explanation. If someone knows better how this Live Camera works, please let me know and Iโll try my best to correct any inaccuracies.
Save the .txt file and check how it works in game. It might feel weird at first, but personally I find it so much smoother and easier to handle. If youโre not happy with these values, close the game and edit those parameters until you find your sweet spot. Unfortunately, you will have to close and open the game every time you change it to check how it works.
Thereโs so many cool Custom Camera mods out there that I thought itโs probably better to just show how to edit those 2 parameters than editing and reuploading all of them.
So yeah, thatโs it. Now you can play those tall lots without getting a headache. Go ahead and send your college simmies to that hideous Sim State Tower with a hot tub on top of it. Now youโll be able to see whatโs going on up there.
Yesterday, I downloaded Skellโs extracted Ideal Plantsim to use in my uberhood, and while reading her headcanon that the Ideal Plantsim is actually a fairy who created plantsims, I came up with the idea for this mod! Fairy Godparents adds three more โIdeal Plantsimsโ to your game: Jennicor Tricou, Oberon Gossamer, and Titania Summerdream. In my canon, the four fairies got together one day, drank a little too much nectar, and accidentally created a speciesย ๐
There are two versions: download the first one if Apartment Life or Mansion and Garden Stuff is your newest EP/SP, or download the second if your newest EP is Seasons, Bon Voyage, or Freetime.

Big thanks to worf_84 at MTS for the multi-plantsim mod tutorial!
Plantsim spores created during testing under the cut.
UPDATE: For those of you who want infant baby faces, they have now been added to this mod! You wonโt see the effects immediately since plant babies are spawned as toddlers, BUT if any of those children have babies the old-fashioned way, they should now have infant faces. This will not affect any sims that were already spawned with the old version.

๐ท SEASONS-FREETIME VERSION 2
Thank you to: @lexisnewman and @shockmeamazed for the baby faces I stole adapted for this mod!
Originally I was going to make this for personal use only but figured someone else would want this as well. @squaretable-sims said he was ok with me posting edits of his work as long as there's credit due, so here I am. More details and download below.
There's a few differences from the original neighborhood, mostly fixes from the documented bug list:
I changed the cherry blossom trees back to the original willow tree color because it didn't have seasonal states.
Added a kitchen sink to the BFF house and a fire alarm.
Changed the plate glass window frames in the Spencer-Kim-Lewis house to white (although in my end only a couple of them had a different color than white. Probably has to do with the fact I have CEP installed? Let me know if the issue persists)
Fixed the chimney issue in the Oakenstead lot, also moved some things around to resemble the original house more.
I abstained from making any more changes because I plan to make my own version of the hood (which again, was thought for personal use) using Square's as a base.
I also took the time (not a lot really) to make a subhood version.
Willow Creek is a lush bayou of rolling hills intertwined with marshy riverways. It's home to long-standing reputations and simple lifestyles full of coastal hospitality. Convenient with town comforts, lively neighbors, and a grandeur of property possibilities, Willow Creek is the idyllic place to settle down and settle in.
From The Sims 4 to The Sims 2, after many burnout breaks and a couple semesters later, Willow Creek is ready for you to enjoy.
I think there's everything - scripted events, memories, storytelling pictures, skills, jobs, relationships, etc. - that I could think of. Since this is the first release, consider yourself a tester? I'll be releasing updates based off feedback.
Below the cut I've got some more pictures for you to get to know the families! And the download links, of course.
The BFF Household
Free spirit Liberty, cheerful Summer, and geeky Travis are unlikely friends, and nothing can come between these three. Except perhaps the growing feelings both Summer and Liberty have for Travis...
The Pancakes Family
Poor, poor Bob and Eliza โ have they ever been happy? It seems thereโs nothing one can do to please the other. Just what is keeping this couple together? Or, conversely, what is the spark that will finally drive them apart?
The Spencer-Kim-Lewis Family
Okay, here's the breakdown: Dennis Kim and Lydia Spencer had a daughter named Alice Spencer-Kim, then divorced. Alice married Eric Lewis and had her own little girl, Olivia Kim-Lewis. They live with Alice's dad (Dennis, remember?) and Eric's mom, Vivian Lewis. Hey, no one ever said family was easy!
The Goth Family
The Goths are an aristocratic family with a dreary aura. Between Mortimer writing macabre stories and Bella's mysterious disappearances will Cassandra grow up to be gloomy, too? And what's up with Alexander, who turned out to be a prodigy overnight?
Like the original Willow Creek made by @squaretable-sims, this neighborhood got 4 playable families, 12 residential lots (3 empty) and 10 community lots (5 + 1 extra from Willow Creek and 3 + 1 empty lot from Magnolia Promenade). Terrain made by @welasko of course.
CONTENT REQUIRED
Almost none, except for:
Off-Grid Rugs by Huge Lunatic
The Sims 2 Store Content
The Sims Life Stories Conversions
Multiple Subhood Selection by Mootilda (subhood version only)
PHEWWWWW, I've been working on this for nearly a year!!! Making custom neighborhoods is TOUGH, mad respect for those who pull out neighborhoods like a bakery - I could never! But I really wanted to make my version of Willow Creek for my own timeline save file, I even went and made a version of this neighborhood without the Goths but that's for personal use as it's pretty outdated - if there's enough demand, I might post it for you guys.
If you have the game in any other language other than English, chances are that the names will get randomized! To fix this, use this mod.
Also!! Keep in mind this neighborhood is based off the 2025 update, so all houses are not the same as BG release.
That was a lot to type -- I'll be editing the post as I remember any info I might have missed, bear with me in the meantime!! And I'm open to any feedback, don't be afraid to contact me in any Sims servers or through my ask. Have fun!
So I've recently fallen down the genetic infant faces rabbit hole (ik, I'm late to the party, I've been out of the loop for a while ๐คช) and while there are now many custom face template sets and even whole Maxis hoods that include genetic infant faces, I couldn't find very many multi-PT sets with them, much less a Maxis-match one.
AND THEN I came across @jawusa's 4t2 alien sims from the Get To Work EP, and, lo and behold, they have genetic infant faces!!
So I present to you...*drumroll*
Stella + Jawusa - 4t2 Multi PT pack ๐ฝ
Features:
8 alien sims, created by the lovely Jawusa
3 custom Maxis-match skin tones (blue, turquoise, and violet) included, also created by Jawusa
Compatibility with gender-choosing feature of Alien Experiments by BoilingOil

If anyone is interested in an all-green version or a version with different skins (I'm eyeing @poppet's Colorful Feathers), feel free to message me! I promise I won't take 5 years to answer this time lol
Poorly edited pics of some alien spawn under the cut:
Seriously, I cannot get enough of these genetic infant faces
UPDATE: Since I've been using the Reboot skins by @simstate and recently changed my default eyes to the 4t2 noodlesims Clarity Eyes by @alienara-simblr, I decided to make another version of my newest Multi-PT pack ๐ฝ
Included: Multi-PT mod, 8 custom recolored skins by me
**NOT INCLUDED BUT VERY MUCH REQUIRED** Alienara's 4t2 conversions of noodlescc's CLARITY EYES - CUSTOM ALIEN
DOWNLOAD @ SFS
If you just want the skins: download here
Minor quirk about the skins: since I used auto recoloring actions, the teeth/gum colors got screwed up and are no longer minty green. If that bothers you, you can always use these teeth masks by Aegagropilon. If the download doesn't work, let me know and I can reupload them!
If you could share this with the community for more feedback - I would be very grateful, sending everyone spooky hugs~
Try it
What's this: an online tool, which helps to randomize some common things in TS2 (works on mobile devices, yay, but you have to start it from horizontal screen orientation).
Why: You probably know how much stuff in the community rely on random number generators: townies creation, random events, in-game teen aging, etc.
I'm aware that there are a handful of similar tools online. Initially I made this for myself, since I wanted everything to be in the same place. For a long-long time this was just a text on white background.
But recently I decided I want to start to contribute to the sims community, which I was silently "stalking" for years (for decade?). I booked a weekend to make an interface, it's ugly thought, since my UI skills are negative :D But at least it's functioning, so...
Use cases
Randomize CAS sims personality, genetics, chemistry (known issue: sometimes you might receive a sim with 10+ nice points, on my list to fix, but treat it as a sign to create super sweet bun for your hood)
Randomize sliders clicks to create sims in Bodyshop, based on this tutorial by Pooklet (generates randomized clicks in one list, you can adjust amount of face templates and sliders according to how many you have, up to 35 each)
First 250 out of 500 random events, based on this list by @lavender-noire (really appreciate I got permission to use it <3). And I kinda like how it turned out ^^'
Last, but not the least...
It started as personal project, but I'm happy to listen to community's suggestion what else could be added there!
I am considering pets rnd, specific legacy related rnd, adding adequate randomizer for townies skills and badges. Background music? Dark mode UI? Sometimes random events require additional 1dN randomization, so i might add this as well.
