NANCY Part 3 by Lukheya

Hello, hello!

This month’s set is finally here! We are heading back outdoors for Part 3 of the Nancy Collection, featuring a full set of windows, doors and decorative items to help you create the perfect coastal entrance 🥰

I originally thought this month was going to be a difficult one and that I wouldn’t be able to create as many items as I wanted… but somehow I ended up making almost 60 💀💀

I finally figured out how to create the cutout for windows, so you’ll find plenty of variations included in the set. One of my favorites is the angled version, which lets you create beautiful two-story rooms or even a cute greenhouse like the one shown in the pictures! For the larger windows, I also wanted to create matching door versions so everything could look seamless when building full glass walls and I’m really happy with how they turned out.

I had also been wanting to create my own curtains for a long time and I tried my best to give the mesh a soft fabric effect. I hope you like them! They come in multiple heights and I also included striped swatches that make them unique and perfect for this collection.

I also experimented with roof tiles because, honestly, I really dislike most of the ones we currently have in-game 😭 I genuinely think I’ll be using these in every build from now on! They strike a nice balance between modern and traditional and they come in several neutral tones alongside browns, blues and reds.

Finally, I really wanted to create a customizable porch area. To make it as flexible as possible, you’ll find separate roof and wood pieces that you can mix and match with different swatches. Alternatively, you can use the standalone versions featuring my original swatches.

I think that’s pretty much everything I have to say about this set, since I can’t possibly talk about every single item individually. I really hope you all have fun with it and let your creativity run wild! I can’t wait to see your builds! 🥰

Hounds Castle - Engagement Venue | Brindleton Bay ౨ৎ♡

Hi friends! Today I’m so excited to share this gorgeous new venue with you! This time, we’re in Brindleton Bay with a build inspired by San Francisco City Hall. The venue features timeless architecture and a glorius entrance, beautifully filled with flowers so your sims can get engaged right on the grand staircase. Afterwards, they can celebrate in one of the entertainment rooms and even spend the night in one of the elegant suites. This lot is also perfect for weddings if you’d like to use it that way, it just needs a wedding arch! I hope you have so much fun with it ♡

Hello helloo! I’m back with some more behind-the-scenes content! ✨

As the end of the month gets closer, I’m putting the final touches on Nancy Part 3 and I’ve made a lot of progress since the last update! We are officially at 42 objects already!!

One of the biggest additions has been the windows. I added 9 new variations so you’re no longer limited to the full-length versions. There are now 1-tile and 1.5-tile options, plus a much shorter version for anyone who (unlike me 😭) actually uses short walls! Each set of 3 comes in different styles too: a full grid version, a 4-rectangle version and a top/bottom decorated version. Honestly, while modeling them I couldn’t decide which design I liked best… so I just added them all to the game. The more the merrier! 🥰

I also finally worked on something I’ve wanted for a really long time: an outdoor wall sconce! I never fully loved the existing options or their swatches, so I created my own version. It comes in all of my signature metal colors and I included a little process photo showing the before-and-after of hand-painting the details. Metals are honestly one of the hardest things to get right, but I think I’ve finally found my signature style for them and I’m really happy with how they turned out! I also tweaked the lighting to make it feel soft, warm and cozy.

And finally… I forced myself to tackle the thing I dreaded most: doors 💀

I’m happy to report it was nowhere near as difficult as I made it out to be LOL. Turns out I was massively overcomplicating things with vertex groups and cuts. Once I finally understood the process, I was able to create a full-height door for all three wall heights and it blends seamlessly with the full-length windows from the set. If you’re like me and hate breaking up a beautiful window wall with a random door, this one’s for you!

I’ve also started working on a front entrance door and I’m hoping everything continues to go smoothly 🤞 I just need to sort out the vertex groups one more time (basically telling the game which parts move and which stay still) and then I can finally focus on making it pretty. I also created planters for every window size… and even shutters!

For now, I’m heading back to finishing up the last few items and if all goes well I’ll see you in the first week of June for the official release!

NANCY Part 2 | Announcement

Hello, hello!

This month’s set is finally here and I’m so excited to continue the Nancy Collection with a much-needed Part 2! This time, we’re stepping outside into a magical garden where you can create the patio of your dreams 🥰

April was definitely… an interesting month, to say the least 💀 but despite everything, I’m really happy with how these items turned out! The main inspiration behind this set was wicker: wicker sofa, wicker chair, wicker coffee table, you name it! The wicker pieces come in my usual wood swatches, while all fabrics are available in Nancy’s signature colors and patterns, bringing each item to 30+ swatches.

If I had to name the item that brings me the most happiness, it would definitely be the planter! I’m so happy I was able to make it fully functional in game by playing around with rigs and slots, so your Sims can use it all year long. I designed it specifically to sit along the fence, allowing you to fill it with beautiful flowers or even functional crops.

The fence is also one of my favorite pieces. It’s fully customizable, so you can create pretty much any shape you like! I personally love using it as shown in the pictures: starting with the lower fence, moving into the accent version and finishing with the taller fence. To go with it, I also made two fence posts that help elevate the overall look.

For even more decoration, I created climbing roses and ivy. I’ve seen so many beautiful reference pictures where these were woven across fences and walls and I really wanted to capture that same romantic garden feel. Hopefully you like them and see the vision!

And finally… my pièce de résistance: the umbrella! Oh, how I love a good umbrella in the summer heat. I wanted to create something I’ve never really seen in game before, but that feels so common and natural in real-life terraces.

As always, to elevate your Sims’ outdoor spaces even more, I also created a checkered grass floor, perfect for mansions and elegant gardens. You can use the accent tiles that come with it to create a border between the tiles and the grass using Ctrl+F and the rotate tool. It can be a little tricky at first, but you’ll definitely get the hang of it!
