Yesterday the family and I completed a walk to help find a cure for Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC) a rare condition my youngest son Rocky has been battling against since his birth last year. TSC has basically given my son tumors pretty much everywhere including all vital organs like his brain, lungs, heart and even his largest organ his skin ohh yeah and seizures too. It's moments like yesterday that remind me that my family and I are not alone in helping our children live a happy a life as possible. As a parent you naturally want to protect your baby from suffering yet I can't protect him from TSC I can't take the suffering away. I can't imagine what he's gone through if I'm suffering this much just watching.
