got asked in an oc creation ask game and decided to take a shot....
4. In developing their backstory, what elements of the world they live in played the most influential parts?
i'll answer this one with TSDUL as a whole, since that's been my biggest brainworm as of recently.
the most obvious answer: the fact that everything takes place in Minecraft. this part is by FAR the most "stable" element of TSDUL, so it often works as my launching pad for ideas/plot devices/jokes. the other reason why i focus on the minecraft aspect so much is because of what i plan to spoof: minecraft "args" (which, controversially, are not actually args). my fixation on this new wave of minecraft roleplay makes me realize.... er, not a lot of stories really USE the minecraft setting?! which i think is fine, but i think there are a lot of things you could do if you take advantage of the setting. a lot of things that you could imply without ever saying, even.
18. What is the most recent thing you’ve discovered about your OC?
Clo has taken the worst aspect about myself: instead of properly learning how to code, she just googles what she wants each time and hopes someone else had her problem.
post meridiem
i kept drawing Clo too young so i decided to tweak her proportions little bit at a time until i figured out what was up
