Hive Queens of Pantala (names under the cut!)
Per the wiki Tsetse is another of Wasp's sisters, no description but again there could be some challenge to making her look related to the other royals yet not a clone? There's a chance for creativity at least?
Day 216- Tsetse
I feel like I should share more on here, this is what I usually do every Thursday on other platforms, so I'll do it here too :)
I do want to draw more lamarr, Kleiner and Alyx I'm just getting use to their faces. Still kinda awkward for my brain to translate so far. But more of them are coming! (also my OC Tsetse, he had a bit of a tumble)
The Empress card in Tarot is a symbol of abundance, nurturing, and the creative forces of nature. She represents fertility, growth, and the connection to the natural world. The Empress is often associated with motherhood, beauty, and the cultivation of life.
Tsetse flies are known to provide care for their offspring by producing a milk-like substance very similar to what mammals produce - This nurturing behavior reflects the Empress's qualities of fostering growth and ensuring the survival of future generations.
Additionally, the Empress embodies the natural beauty and harmony of the environment. Despite the negative perception associated with tsetse flies, they are still part of the intricate web of life. This card reminds us to appreciate the diversity and interdependence of all living beings, even those that are often misunderstood or deemed undesirable. It encourages us to recognize the beauty and interconnectedness of nature and embrace the inherent creative and nurturing energies within ourselves.

Fly’s Eye View
What’s a tsetse fly’s favourite colour? Red or green? How about purple or gold? For people in sub-Saharan Africa, figuring out the answer could be life-saving. Tsetse flies transmit parasites called trypanosomes that cause sleeping sickness (also known as trypanosomiasis) in humans and animals. Although its name sounds benign, the disease causes serious brain problems and is fatal if untreated. One idea for controlling tsetse flies is to use traps like this one, which use smelly chemicals to lure the insects on to an insecticide-covered cloth. These are usually black or blue but after studying the range of colours that the fly’s eyes can detect, researchers realised that the insects would more attracted to violet cloth. In tests, the violet cloth traps attracted around 50 per cent more female flies than black or blue ones, proving that a simple colour change could make a big difference for controlling tsetse-borne disease.

Hc for the ozmafia anime
Fuka never played an important role in the ozmafia anime, but you always see her in the credits drawing the ozmafia cast. I like to think that she's either an art student or an art teacher who's good friends with Catania, axel, kyrie etc. They only meet outside of the campus, fuka meeting them at the designated meeting place and doodles while waiting for her friends. The oz guys tell her their stories that happen at the campus and the people they met, specifically a nervous new student, scarlet.
