“First of all, I’m not Greek. Second of all, That’s not me, THIRD OF ALL THAT’S NOT WHAT THE SIGN SAYS.”
“So…does this mean you’re not hungry for a foot long yogurt hot dog?”
How I imagine Nathan might be, were it not for Walter's curse :D

@tseappreciationweek submission for Aug 4th prompt: Hook
When I first came across The Silver Eye, this is the first page I remember seeing. I didn't settle down for a full read through until some months later, but when I did, I was reading full time for two days straight! The Silver Eye is one of my favorite webcomics because of its painterly style, endearing characters, consistent weekly updates, and sheer length. Here is the original art (left) and my fanart (right), reimagining it in a LEGO style!
TSEWeek 2025, Day 6 - Free Day (@tseappreciationweek) This was a watercolour sketch I did of the Novalog with a Weaver several years back. It looks rather unfinished here, but unfortunately the sketch got ruined when I inked it, so this is it.

Day 1 Prompt: Restoration OR Hook
(I do have a submission for Restoration that actually relates to Hook, but it’s a bit more personal so I might post it in the comments later, make a private post for it, or not post at all; I’m very new to Tumblr and still learning the features)
Hook: TLDR: Thank you to my college friend for reading TSE to/with me in our school’s lecture halls and getting me “hooked”.
In general, I’ve never considered myself as a reader. I read and comprehend at a slow pace which was very discouraging in school growing up since it felt like everyone around me in class read so much faster, so as I got older I moved away from any kind of leisure reading.
Now that being said, I had a college friend who asked me if I’ve heard of or read The Silver Eye on the very first day we met freshman year. To which I had to disappoint her by telling her “I’ve never heard of it and unfortunately I’m not much of a reader”. She had already been reading TSE years prior so she was always trying to entice her friends to read it with her, but she was never fully successful. Fast forward to summer going into both of our junior years, we are both on campus for the summer. Summer was much more relaxed than during the school year so she was still urging me to get on board with TSE that summer but I kept resisting. So we compromised and decided that the best (and only) way I was going to read it was for her to read it to me. 🤣 AND IT WORKED!! Fast forward two years up to now, and I’m STILL keeping up and reading it and loving every page, spoiler, meme, fanart, calendar, theory, etc.
These are pictures of one of the lecture halls we would take over late at night that summer and plaster TSE all over the big screen projectors. She read through all the dialogue of each page, she showed me the Easter eggs of the hovertext, she used the white boards/chalk boards in each classroom to keep track of the lore we were reading and breaking down the family tree. It was the best binge read ever since I was getting all the lore and theories that were building up page by page over the years but I didn’t have to wait as long for certain theories to be revealed.
Side note: For my first year paying enough attention to catch AND participate in TSE appreciation week in time, the prompts this year are hauntingly relatable to my experience with TSE and my surrounding life, especially in terms of my newfound/early faith journey and a lot of these prompts feeling like biblically related themes and reflections in my life.
Late submission for Justice - Nathan’s idea of Justice is to simply annihilate everything. This was one of the concepts I did for The Imperator Nathan Playlist on Spotify (username thelostie815). It goes with the song Natural by Imagine Dragons.
