So, the saddest thing has been happening lately.

A few years ago or so this elderly couple walks their older dog around the block 2 times. They are the sweetest couple, always smiling and giving out advice as well. Well, we would walk with them and just listen to their stories they would share.

Well, the last few months, they didn’t walk their older dog anymore. The wife stopped smiling as much, and she didn’t speak as much. She began walking slower and sometimes would have to take a walker with her.

She stopped walking with her husband. He wouldn’t smile as much, though when kids were around, he was his old self again, smiling and telling jokes.

He stopped walking just a week before the “for sale” sign went up.
