TSG.TV has been raising money for charity for years. Multiple streams they have carried out have raised over fifty thousand dollars in one week. Quite impressive. They've been at it since 2008, almost seven years in the making so far. They have a Mario marathon coming up in July, the 17-24th. The streams are a great time, and the community is awesome. If you haven't heard of them, take a while and get to know them. They're in the works planning a lot of great stuff at the moment. I can't wait to see what comes up!
I can't list everyone here because there's dozens. I'll list the ones I know fairly well, though.
Britt, founder and main man of TSG.TV. He's put a great deal of hours into this site, and definitely deserves kudos.
Chase, Britt's brother, and Starcraft/MOBA enthusiast.
Phil, the man with the snazzy bowler. He also has a doctorate.
Sam, Phil's beau. Great personality and a lot of charisma.
Megan, one of the charismatic members from as far back as the first Mario marathon in 2009.
Mayday, I don't remember when she joined the team, but she is near enough Britt and Chase that she can show up for the smaller events they hold, often.
Gendarme, long time mod, but also a streamer for quite a time.
Tyler, deemed the teams Aziz Ansari by several viewers. He's a goof, and he's often busy. He's close enough to Britt and Chase to join in with the smaller events, but he works late, and is not always available. He likes Chao.
Rob, another nearby member of the crew who has often swung by the shorter events.
Baltes, long time member of the crew, who has servers for several games that the community can enjoy.
Toast, a fun loving pun loving guy who loves to torture Ana with cheesy puns. He hopped on the Skype voice chat one stream, and gave commentary for ten hours straight, cementing his position on the team. Many of the commentators have three hours or so to a shift, so ten hours is quite an investment of time and energy.
Ana, the big name artist of the team. She's talented, and the crew's queen of dry humor, sarcasm, and bizarrely serious response to absurd conversations. She's held down a conversation about the three presidents she'd want resurrected as zombie allies if there was a zombie apocalypse, and she can draw anything (anything) as a Sonic OC.
There are far more people on the team, and even the fans have quite a close knit community with familiar names coming back for half a decade. Friendly folks, always open to new faces, whether you're a donor, a watcher, or a chatter. So keep an eye on the pages and see if there's anything going on, because much like Vinesauce, they'll hop on, on occasion.
