You know what totally understandable 😭 The writing was so beautiful and the way that Patroclus kept narrating... Ouch.

I just realized something: achilles isn't the best of the greeks. Patroclus is. At least in tsoa. I'm reading it again and the prophecy after achilles' prophecy says that the best of the greeks will die in two years (or something like that). And who dies? Patroclus. And when pat fights he fights like that's all he's ever done. And pat is compassionate and a talented healer. So listen, pat may not have rivaled achilles in combat, but goddamn he wasn't only talented, but he was a good person all throughout his life and he cared. There's more to being the "best" than being a good warrior.
