TSPUD Favorite Snacks HCs

The Narrator:

Okay so I can’t see him eating anything super intense flavor or texture wise, he definitely has a comfort zone and he likes to stay well within it

Cheese and crackers, toast, pretzels, baby carrots, trail mix- he prefers things that he can eat while working on his stories, nothing super greasy or that requires two hands

He’s not big on sweets but occasionally he’ll buy some fancy chocolates, or enjoy some sort of canned fruit (his favorites are peaches and pears)

Okay I lied he also Loves mint- has a little dish on his desk full of all sorts of wintergreen and spearmint and peppermint candy. He has to refill it embarrassingly often..

I feel like generally he’s more of a drink person than a snack person- the kind of guy who always has to have at least three different beverages within reach at all times. Like two different kinds of tea, a coffee, and a water all sitting on his desk, precariously close to his scripts but he somehow never spills them (…or he doesn’t admit to it, at least)

Stanley:

BIG sensory seeker, loves anything with a strong flavor or interesting texture-

His fav salty snacks are things like salt and vinegar chips (kettle cooked for The Crunch), dry ramen, anything pickled or fermented, garlic chips

He also likes spicy stuff like wasabi peas or hot chips, but he Can Not handle spice- his nose runs and his face gets super red, he always regrets eating it but goes back every time

For sweet stuff he likes zotz, hot cinnamon flavored things, sour skittles but specifically the freeze dried ones, nerds rope, slightly underripe fruit-

If you’re a stannarrator shipper: The Narrator always complains if Stanley tries to kiss him directly after eating any of these things lmao-

Settings Person:

Okay so technically,, my Settings Person is a computer and cannot eat,,,

BUT if they could-

They would like very plain foods with interesting textures

Those satellite wafer candies, congee, plain rice cakes, lettuce, boiled potatoes, tofu, communion wafers, biodegradable packing peanuts-

They’d also enjoy crunching on ice cubes

ᯓᡣ𐭩 Stuck in the eternal loop of a disembodied voice's story, it wasn't like you did any actual office work these days. Technically you never did, but that was a big existential headache you didn't wanna think about today

ᯓᡣ𐭩 As you came to find, Stanley shared your sentiment. Even if you technically didn't actually work, he felt exhausted. When was the last time you slept? Like at all? Did that matter in a paradox? Apparently so, seeing as you were both worn out

ᯓᡣ𐭩 Thanks to Stanley's firm insistence, the two of you were allowed the day off. He convinced the Narrator to summon up the Apartment Ending for you both. You seemed to always go here when you both needed a break, it was the closest thing to a domestic environment you could get

ᯓᡣ𐭩 Stanley loved to be the big spoon. His arms would link around your waist, hands petting across your stomach. His face would bury into the back of your neck or in the crook of your shoulder, and he'd take deep breaths to calm down

ᯓᡣ𐭩 Sometimes, especially after hard routes, he'd let you hold him instead. Feeling your warmth just always acts like a soothing balm to his aching mind. Everything about you, it was just so comforting

ᯓᡣ𐭩 As drowsiness begun to take hold, he pressed his nose to yours. He tangled your legs together, letting his eyes fall shut. Nowhere in the whole Parable did he ever feel this safe, not ever like he was when right here with you

ᯓᡣ𐭩 Narrator, of course, kept chatting in the background. He noticed how tired you both were and set out to fix it. He made an HR team of office supplies and dismantled it within the same hour, but at this point his voice was white noise. All you cared to hear was Stanley's gentle breaths evening out as he fell asleep

ᯓᡣ𐭩 Stanley somehow cuddled even closer as he slept. He cradled himself into your arms, face tucked into your chest and head under your chin. Every fiber of his being craved the comfort only you could provide. The touch of another, grounding and secure. And in this Parable, wholly his to cherish

The Stanley Parable HCs!!!

Tickle:

The Narrator first found out Stanley was ticklish when he was in the broom closet and wouldn’t get out, so he “shocked” him, but it actually tickled

Stanley gets REALLY flustered when teased verbally

Stanley sometimes gets the Narrator back

When he does the Narrator glitches and stuff

Sometimes Stanley will piss the Narrator off so that he will turn into his like “human” form, and Stanley can tickle him

Stanley also would like beg the Narrator to stay a human because he’s “lonely” when in reality, it’s because he wants to tickle him while he's narrating (I would GLADLY do a fic on this btw)

Sometimes Stanley forgets the Narrator can hear his thoughts

So when he’s in a lee mood the Narrator knows and is SO smug about it

Stanley’s most ticklish on his knees, hips, and sides

The Narrator’s most ticklish on his sides, stomach, and ribs

Stanley didn’t know the Narrator was ticklish so he never really bothered to try and get him

But sometimes he would like think about getting the Narrator back and the Narrator (hearing all his thoughts) is like FREAKING OUT /pos

The Narrator does silly things to provoke Stanley, but gets upset when Stanley doesn’t get him (again, he thought he wasn’t ticklish)

It wasn’t until the Narrator said “Stanley, how come you never tickle me back” until Stanley tried to tickle him

When the Narrator found out Stanley likes it when he tickles him, he absolutely teased the shit out of him

The Narrator tickles Stanley if he ever says a swear word (or- is about to say one)

“That motherf- ah! Hehey!” “Stanley, we can’t have such foul language! This game is family friendly!”

Non-Tickle (tw: some angst)

Whenever Stanley does The Zending Ending, the Narrator refuses to talk to let Stanley have a choice for the next round (meaning he has to finish the game properly) then he goes back to normal

After the Not Stanley Ending, when the game restarts, the Narrator starts saying how much he missed him

“Stanley?! Stanley! Oh my goodness it’s really you! You don’t know how much I missed you!”

After a really bad ending, Stanley would just stand in his cubical, and the Narrator feels bad and generates a cup of coffee for him and brings him the bucket

Speaking of, the Narrator fucking hates the bucket

He always tries to hide it from Stanley, but somehow Stanley always finds it

Stanley loves pissing the Narrator off, and he finds a million ways to do it

The Narrator throws tantrums like a little kid (stomps his feet on the ground, crosses his arms, whines, pouts, etc.)

That’s the main reason Stanley loves pissing him off, because the Narrator’s reaction makes him giggle

The Narrator gets jealous of the bucket so easily

“Why don’t you hold me like you hold that bucket, Stanley. That’s an inanimate object, at least I can turn human.”

Whenever Stanley and the Narrator get into a fight, Stanley just stops whatever he was doing and just sits on the ground and waits for the Narrator to apologize

The Narrator eventually does because he can’t stand waiting and being bored

The Narrator gently places his hand on yours. Your fingers are absolutely frigid.

"Well, this simply won't do," he says. "Come here, Listener."

With a wave of his other hand, he spawns in a heated blanket calibrated to your needs precisely. With another wave, the two of you are in the Zen Room. The floor is soft and squishy. It's almost like a giant bed

He gently encourages you to lay down. He puts the blanket on top of you, smiling a private little smile when he sees the goosebumps start to fade.

"Fall asleep if you wish," he says. "I'll be here when you wake up."

He draws on his hands and palms a lot and Stanley loves being a little shit and tracing his finger over the drawings and it make narrator start covering his face with his other hand and start giggling and Stanley just watches like sjavjavshvueheuheue

Snfamauswnev this is SO DAMN CUTE!!!! I love the idea of the Narrator’s hands being really ticklish, it’s just the cutest thing ever! Even when Stanley draws on them he’s in a fit of giggles squirming around & it just gets worse when Stanley traces his fingers over the lines. & it makes him soooo flustered!!

also sorry if the doodles are a little off, my laptops not available rn hehe...

one of my hcs is that the narrator and the curator's forms are naturally the beginner guide's speak heads, and the more control they have on themselves, the more human they can look

and since i think that the curator has complete control over herself, she can look completely human! meanwhile, the narrator only has control on some things in the game, and none on his own knowledge and self, so he's stuck with the beginner's guide speak head 🤷

an hc i have for the characters is that the settings person fucking LOVES mongol and faber castel pencils, like they'd hoard it in his desk (well, until the whole "testing" procedure... no pencils for mr 432 😔)

another hc that i have is that stanley and 432 were friends, since their offices are close (assuming that 432 and 427's offices are near each other). i think stanley would have fueled 432's pencil addiction...

ANOTHER HC is that stanley and 432 didn't have "real" lives before the whole mess with the narrator. it was just set backgrounds and backstories for each character, so their lives aren't really theirs if you think about it...

last hc: the curator likes apple pie

I'm gonna put a little funsy headcanon with my ver. of Narrator, to which I named him Nathaniel Hudsons. The most British name that I could ever come up in my head. Sooo....

Narrator Headcanons, Part 2! 🎙️

His favorite novel is Pride And Prejudice. It's the drama and tension that catches his eye. ✨

They are Demiromantic. Like, he doesn't hate the idea of romance or anything, they're just really closed off and kinda icky dating someone without pure, and real connection.

Androgynous king.

He's chubby he's just wearing really tight pants.

HIPDIPS HIPDIPS HIPDIPS HIPDIPS

has an eating disorder cos to him eating feels weird gross and disgusting. the texture of eating edible mass and putting it in your mouth is really off putting for him.

he has tons of alternative forms other than a human form. He has an abstract version, a typewriter head version, tiny devil on your shoulder version, biblically accurate design, etc! (I'll be posting them as soon as I'm done with school)

Nathan has this... weird habit on watching stanley sleep. he doesn't have a reason why he does it he just likes to stare at stanley doing, nothing. (Stanley had to swat him away with a pillow to stop.)

his extra arms are kind of shadowy and inky. he uses them to hold things and rearrange the models of the Parable. like a dollhouse. oh did I mention he can be big?

the fucker can hover so if you see him floating around and start chasing you that just means he's in his period. (jk)

instead of a pen, he takes off his gloves and uses his inky fingertips to write on paper. convenient isn't it?

his vitilgo patterns starts to appear on the Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe. He didn't have one yet on the 2013 version.

and thats it! I'm really glad I got to fleshen out his character a bit more so im satisfied with this already.
