|| 雪 || :: the abandoned shrine usually didn’t have many visitors other than a few humans who got lost, or wanting to attempt a kind of daring game to explore it at night. that, and a few DEMONS lurking about which would be driven away promptly by the nine-tailed fox guarding the said area. today, however --- the VULPES, for once, took her mortal form to greet this PECULIAR visitor who stumbled across her territory. his scent and aura caught her attention, making her show herself into the LIGHT as amethyst orbs landed upon the stranger.

                “ you ... you’re not human, are you ? ” beating around the bushes was never her chosen option. if he were human, she would’ve been in her fox form or HISSING at him to leave. but his scent piqued her interest, as shown with the curiosity in her eyes. “ ... you’re not like those demons i’ve fought before. what are you ... ? ”

       The stranger’s arm is taken without permission and yanked, forcing him right out of the range of unexpected flames. Where the hell did they come from? “C’mon, dipshit.” Without a second of warning, their grasp on his arm is tightened, he’s damn near dragged along as they burst into a sprint out of the open field and into a maze of trees intricately weaved together. They’re kind enough to keep their pace at least somewhat human, but they’re far from concerned if he can actually dodge the obstacle course of sharp branches as he’s pulled through.

       “Who in the fuck did you piss off?” Said stranger is released as they come to a sudden clearing, adorned by grass and flora far brighter than any normal forest and a brilliantly clear lake, and the elf runs ahead to climb an unusually ivory tree before perching atop one of the lower branches. “Better yet, how did you end up in the middle of the woods by yourself?”

Allow him a moment of thought or two, whilst lashes dip down to admire the breeze 'GAINST ample cheekbones whilst sky lights melt into the hue of peak GOLDEN HOUR.   Though comfortable to melt into silence with his companion, lost in his own thought, admiring the flash of lights across cityscape before attention grasped by voice that rouses.   Looking o’er face with a moment of thought before dimpled cheeks express a gentle smile, considering.

“Ne, let me think.”   Tattooed fingers brush ‘gainst lips in PONDER,   “Not sure what you’re looking for. There’s… a nice little café down the block if you’d like to escape the cold, oui?   Quiet but not too quiet.   And it has quite the beautiful view of the city.”

            perhaps it was a mistake,  but he’s fairly certain this person is giving him a nasty look.  lips tighten up,  jaw too & eyebrows sink.  furrowing ‘pon forehead,  he’d just have to give them a grumpy look right back!  arms crossed and everything.  he doesn’t consider they could just have a naturally angry look when in deep thought or maybe they’re just tired.  no,  they’re totally picking a fight.  “what?”   * /  @tsukiyc​
