A month had passed and Tsuko stood on a scale weighing herself. She started to become concerned. Her weight kept going up constantly. She sighed in concern as she stepped off the scale and walked into the other room. She picked up a small kunai knife off of a nearby table before suddenly feeling nauseous and then she ran to the bathroom and started getting sick. She did expect a visit from Jiraiya that day but she wasn't sure she felt like interacting with anyone. She felt that bad. She sat on the floor and rested her head against the wall. "Ugh..must be a stomach bug or something." She said with a small sigh.
Something was definitely off. Tsuko wasn’t really acting like herself. She was distracted and worried. Whenever Jiraiya asked she brushed him off. He figured she’d talk about it when she felt like it and didn’t push it. They’re still learning the ropes of this whole relationship thing. It’s been going pretty well in his opinion. Neither of them are perfect ans that’s perfectly okay.
It’s hard to say where the line was. Jiraiya wasn’t sure if there was one. This is his first fairly serious relationship. He’s learning a lot as he goes. He let himself into Tsuko’s place. They exchanged keys not that long ago. It felt weird to welcome himself into someone else’s place but it also felt good to be trusted.
“Tsuko?” He calls out as he walked around. He headed to the bedroom as everywhere else was empty of his girlfriend. The light was on in the bathroom. He pushed the door open and went to her side. “Are you alright? You’re as white as a sheet.” He asks as he rests his hand on her forehead to check her temperature.
